Make that "A man that says it can't be done shouldn't interrupt the woman who is doing it" instead.

And yes, I am a man posting here.

Good story, Linda! And very appropriate quote, Mike! I like it. It fits Linda to a T. Barb (Bubbles in the chat thread) too.

Oh boy, Mike! I like that! . . . early on in our house-building project, that was Bill's favorite excuse for not doing projects . . . . I eventually caught onto that, tho

And welcome to my thread, Roberta!

Thank you. It'll take me a while to read all of it, but I've liked what I've read so far.

A more regular basis? As in, more regular than you, who shunned the thread all summer?

You plan to read the whole thing, Roberta? You're a brave woman!

I had to so I could figure out if I'd fit in the Den or not.
Actually I think I only read about 90% of that one.

Hi Barb and Everyone!

I have 2-3 threads that have a lot of reading on them between log ins. The Lions Den is one of them.

My facebook post about snide comments generated quite a few posts several are between my oldest son and Maggie. Now my son feels hurt and that I am against him. He feels I am talking about HIM with everyone which is true to an extent. But the thread didn't start that way. It wasn't about him. It was about my dislike for 'snide comments'. Why does he have to take that so personal?

As you know I babysat Wednesday night. I don't know if my daughter needs me to sit Thursday night. Right now I feel so frustrated.

I'm sorry this happened. I hope things are sorted out now.

The Den was a lot of reading. Unfortunately I don't think there'll be any more of it.

Just trying to catch up around my threads. I'm so far behind that I wonder if I'll ever be able to catch up.

Aww, that's so sweet of you.

I was just finishing off the last of the scarves I was knitting. I made 54 scarves for the schools, some for Christmas presents and I sold a couple. My hands are very glad for the break, and I'm getting back to reading, which is something I love.

I'm trying to catch up around here. Not an easy job. I've unsubscribed to some of the threads. They've been creeping up again, and it's overwhelming having that number of threads.

Not able to spend as much time on here as I like any more, but I'll spend what I can here. It's interesting typing with spandex gloves on.

Missed you tonight. Bummer. I did play a game of rk with Debbie.

I worked on the house today and got a lot accomplished. Then this afternoon watched my grandson gain yards in the football game and also 4 touchdowns. The excitement activated my anxiety level and I spent some anxious hours later in the afternoon then I fixed stir fried pork and chinese veggies with rice for supper. Hubby did a paid video on demand movie. McCalohay in Ghosts of Girlfriends Past something like that.

What did you do today?

Hi Ginny. Yes, I was very tired tonight, and retired early from the puter. First I fixed pancakes for our breakfast, then I finished hemming the pants I'd started Friday. After that I washed A Window . . but after washing that (which is the most difficult one to do, being above my kitchen sink and very deep-set), I wiped down the oak window frame with Liquid Gold, then decided to do all the cabinets, including the hoosier cabinet, buffet and china cabinet. I was hurting & tired when I finished, but after a bit of a rest I made myself dust-mop all the laminate floors.

I told Bill I didnt' know if my pain was from the swimming, scrubbing the cabinets or the fall on Friday . . mabye a combination

Glad we caught up with each other tonight tho
