I am a walking miracle because I was 5 minutes from death on Nov. 29, 2004... but GOD, choose to intervene in my disaster and now instead of death, I have a wonderful life filled with blessing and love and joy... because of my FATHER's never-ending love!

Okay another kid one. See that red-head? I'm incrediably blessed by that boy, my first born. He's just turned 13 and is growing into such a responsible, smart, caring, helpful young man. Sometimes he can be a brat - but for the most part he's a great kid. I'm thankful that God gave me him as my first born. He's proof that I am a pretty good mother and that I can do this parenting thing.

I'm thankful for the memories that I have of wonderful times with my grandma. The holiday's always make you look back, I guess. And I'm so incredibly blessed to be able to look back and recall so much fun with her.

I'm thankful for this pretty snowflake ( <--over there) that one of my kids at work made me. She isn't even in my half of our class and she made it for me. And she must have spent a fair amount of time on it since she told me one day that she was making me a present and gave it to me another day. It makes me feel like I'm doing something right. [:D]

The relationship I have with my 4 year old son. There were many difficult hurdles to overcome and by God's grace my son and I are together, watching VeggieTales, reading The Children's Bible, The Toddler's Bible, and I'm able to bring him up in the Lord... which was so nearly destroyed because of unfathomable marital problems. Unfathomable save for Jesus.

I thought of this one as I was cleaning the kitchen earlier...
I am thankful for the smell of coffee (not the taste...blehhhhh[:'(][:'(]). I have great memories growing up of our house smelling like coffee (my dad drank it) and now every time hubby makes it and it fills the house with that smell it seems to remind me of that homey feeling no matter where we are in the world or how far away from family we are.

I'm thankful a pastoral staff that offers Sunday sermons that are not full of trivial knowledge but focus on the practical and are as relevant Monday morning at work, school, community, and home as they were on Sunday morning in church.

I am thankful for trash that isn't trash...hubby just got a perfectly good tv and a papasan chair frame from the trash!!!!

I'm thankful for making it through a crazy morning at church. All I did was run around in circles doing stuff for four hours, but everything went well and we made it through!

I am thankful for a hubby that likes to do laundry and many other household jobs...He truly is a blessing!!!!!
