I'm thankful for electric staplers, electric pencil sharpeners, and laminating machines! Just a few items that make volunteering at my kids school more enjoyable! Blessings, Garsy

I'm blessed to be nearly asthma free. I don't know if that's a proper way to say it, but I've not had an asthma attack in at least a year and that's pretty incredible. I was diagnosed with asthma when I was very young...probably around 1 or 2. It was so severe, my family was always afraid that my end would come very early due to suffication or asfixiation (or whatever you call it when your lungs close up and you can't breath). I remember when my "sanctified" translation-pentacostal relatives would come, my grandma would always request an impromptu prayer meeting. They would coat me with oil, lol and we would pray endlessly. Over the years, I was hospitalized repeatedly. I have spent at least one instance of every single holiday in the hospital. E.R. trips were monthly events for years and years. I had several meds that I was always told I'd need to take forever. But now...I'm just so blessed to be a healthy, normal human being...for the most part and normal is still debatable I know. But there are no pills, no weekly shots, no nebulizer, no insane restrictions on food, bedding, dolls, or outdoor activities. Whenever I stop to think about how my everyday used to have to be vs. how it can be now...I'm truly amazed. BTW, that's my 2 year old blessing...lol cause the issue started then I'm going to say for the sake of my goal.

I am so thankful that prayer changes things and that God has granted us open access to His ear! There are so many people in life that I want to pray for today, especially on Crosswalk. I read sad stories and feel bad because I can't actually do anything for the people, but then I'm reminded that God is everywhere and He can do way more than I can imagine!!!!!!

I am thankful for a sweet husband who thinks of me above himself, and who has no problem listening to my opinion about things.
