I'm thankful for bright children! We got state testing results back today and I am VERY pleased. Moving to this district was a VERY good idea!

I'm thankful for public libraries. I would never be able to afford to buy all the books my kids read and the libraries can!

I'm blessed greatly by a nice sized check we received in the mail today along with $10 per child extra in cash from my parents. Gotta love the parents!

Oh and we were also blessed by the generousity of a group of 7th grade students who spent the entire month of november and most of december raising money to give to the schools guidance counselors whom they asked to divide it up amongst families of fellow 7th grade students who may need a little extra to make Christmas more enjoyable!

I'm very thankful that my dh's fever finally broke and he is resting comfortably. Praying that he is fine and dandy before church in the morning.

I'm also thankful that my kids have been washing their hands and taking their vitamins and have been extra careful not to cough or sneeze on each other! Just a few things we need to do to keep EVERYONE healthy!!!

I am blessed by the creativity of others and the inspiration that a few simple words of another can give to me!
Lyn mentioned in another thread that her ds calls Nativity scenes - "Bethlahems" and the image that created in my head is so very precious!
