Nice little article in Special Advertising Section about Tony Gore's Smoky Mountain BBQ in September Singing News by Les Butler. They have picture of Tony as well as photo of front of resturant.

We'll definitely go one time when they are there. We're also really excited about hearing Soul'd Out because we haven't heard Dusty with them live yet and we're really wanting to see Mark Bishop. We saw The Bishops a couple of times, but haven't seen Mark or Kenny as a soloist yet.

Christi, you should be able to pick up that coupon at any of the hotels or other places where they put the tourist info. We saw the box when it came in the restaurant. I think he said he ordered 10,000.

Forgot to post that we ate at Tony's BBQ Sunday after church. I had the Smoked Chicken and Mrs. C. had the Chicken Salad sandwich as well as a friend had that. Her husband had the Rib-Eye special. All food was very good as usual. Tony has given up the plastic plates and utensils. Now real plates and silverware and glasses for drinks. Go going Tony.

I'm afraid the Monday night rook club is no more. We haven't had enough show up to play a game in a couple of months. There were only two of us tonight. I'll give it one more week, then I think we have to call it over.

Hope Tony's business is not falling off. September was probably slow but it should really pick up in October with the Harvest Festival at Dollywood. Be a lot of SG fans in the area then.
