What makes you smile?

When someone makes me smile despite my tears...now that makes me smile [:D]

Unexpected phone calls from friends make me smile.

Full belly laughter makes me smile.... right now anyways..... because my lungs can't handle joining in!!! [:D]

Thinking about how much Christ cherishes me..... about how he died on the cross just for me... and about how he is redeeming my life.... and making me more like Him.... makes me smile from my heart......

linden2 -> RE: Smile, smile, smile (1/10/2007 2:19:39 PM)

watching little kids get into trouble for those "cute" offenses... and watching an elderly couple who have been married for most of their lives communicate in non verbal glances, etc. :)

joy2give2u -> RE: Smile, smile, smile (1/10/2007 2:23:34 PM)

ditto linden.

My two year old niece is very talented at making me smile when I should be looking stern. I find it very hard to keep a straight face when she slants her head, smiles and says "I love you d...."

I was out in San Diego a while ago and when coming out of the hotel lobby saw a couple who had to be in their 80's or so. He was holding her arm with such incredible tenderness as they crossed the street. My face hurt from the smile by the time I got back to my room.

We should all be like that. The love shining out from us should make all those around us smile.

My little guy makes me smile a lot...sleeping, eating, telling me a story, running down the sidewalk, dancing, just being silly...I smile at and because of him a lot.

"Sweetie Pie" the dog. I love that dog!!!!

Thinking about my grandma.

Pictures.

A good workout at the gym, after I actually forced myself to go even though I had too much to do. That always gives me a serious grin!

.Pammy -> RE: Smile, smile, smile (1/10/2007 2:52:54 PM)

adoration -> RE: Smile, smile, smile (1/10/2007 3:04:01 PM)

Some really really good news from a friend this morning made me smile.

joy2give2u -> RE: Smile, smile, smile (1/10/2007 3:10:04 PM)

Yesterday I made a mistake of posting in a thread entitled Are you NUTS?? LOL

Today each time I check to see if anyone has posted in any of the threads I am following the words Are you NUTS pop out first. I can't help laughing out loud. Amazing a thread about nuts would have so much traffic.

adoration -> RE: Smile, smile, smile (1/10/2007 3:15:32 PM)

The same thing happens when people change the title of a thead in their post and go to the index of folders. [:D] Some of the thread titles are a hoot! [8D]

I left work a little early today and much to my surprise and amusement, there was a man on the train dressed in a Santa suit! This was not just any Santa suit...think Dan Aykroyd in Trading Places. It was a little dirty, a little tight, and best of all, the pants were high-waters! Oh, I think Husker will appreciate this, the man was carrying a tattered Washington Redskins duffle bag!

Anyway, it made me smile and chuckle a bit. Public transportation can be the source of many smiles [:D]
