Big question is, do you use floss?

I hear that the toothbrush was invented in West Virginia. Apparently, anywhere else it would have been called a 'teethbrush'.

Did they only have one tooth when the toothbrush was invented?

While y'all were spitting, snorting, blowing, hacking and brushing I had a busy weekend. Had to do a brake job on the truck. The rotors were bad and had one turned and had to replace the other. Went to the dealer and bought AC Delco pads, hope they'll last longer than the last ones. An expensive weekend altogether!

(((Ben))) What a blessing you can do that stuff yourself though.
We really can relate to car issues popping up and always at the most financially inconvenient (sp) times! And neither Jeff nor I are mechanics.
Praying the pads last longer for you this time.

I think I'm going through male menopause....

I was busy with the brakes, and coming home from one of the trips into town the song I Can Only Imagine came on and I busted out crying, driving down the road tears streaming down my cheeks trying to sing this -
Surrounded by Your glory, what will my heart feel
Will I dance for you Jesus or in awe of you be still
Will I stand in your presence or to my knees will I fall
Will I sing hallelujah, will I be able to speak at all
I can only imagine

Okay, I can see this causing the tears to fall, but then later that night there was a Johnny Cash special on CMT when he was at San Quentin back in 1969 (I want to see the new movie too). They showed him doing A Boy Named Sue, not one of the most sentimental of songs! But as he sang it I recalled listening to it with my father back then, as he was going through his country/western phase, and during the commercial break I went into the kitchen to get some water and busted out in tears again!

As Denny would say -
Hmmmm!

Awwwww, Ben. I'd offer to share my Kleenexes with you, but I used them all watching Home Makeover last night

You're just under a alot of stress...better to get it out in tears than with health problems!

Praying for you today

I agree Ben. (((Ben))) You can "stuff" stuff only so long. Releasing is a good thing. Really it is.

Now ifin' you came on and posted that you were having night sweats...well then I would be the one going "Hmmmmm..." Love ya Ben, and praying for you.

Karlie, Jeff and I watched that show too. We were just sitting down to eat and I had set the table with the plates, silverware, salad dressings etc. and a pile of kleenex for each of us. LOL!! I told him if we were going to watch we would be needing it.

Sharon, that show was so touching. I fell in love with those kids...I wanted to hop a plane and go meet that family!

No night sweats. I got the covers pulled up to my chin. Lynn is the one who has them thrown off her. Ever try to pull covers up when they are being held down by someone's body?

I didn't see the makeover show. What was it?

It was about a woman who has adopted several children...all special needs. One had spina bifida, one has fetal alcohol syndrome, 2 have no legs, one was a burn victim, and one has a crippling bone disease. One son died last Christmas from his illness. They re-did their home to meet all their special needs. What an amazing family though...all those kids are happy and confident and you can tell are so loved. It was a blessing to watch them.

Ben, I agree with the others. Get out the tears because you don't want the other bad health problems if you don't. I've stuffed things down for years now, and I'm living proof of what can go wrong if you don't get it out.

The Show is Extreme Makeover/Home Edition with Ty Pennington and crew.
The Show Karlie mentioned was a 2 hour one. On ABC Sunday night. Because of the 2 hours it started at 6pm central.

Karlie, last week's was very moving also and I actually blubbered through that one more than I did this one. The mom who was raising 8 kids on her own and had been the victim of domestic violence.
