I remember I was young enough to think that making it to a QUARTER CENTURY was a big deal back then.
Now that I have more than two of them under my belt, I'd rather not think about it.

I remember being teased about turning quarter of a century.
I remember falling to pieces when I turned 30 because I thought it was so old.
Now I know 30 isn't old. Says she who's going to be 40 this year.

My ds3 will be 25 this year as well, and ds4 will be 23 along with Catherine (though he has no burning desire to rent a car).

You should have begun to feel old when you became a grandfather! It is hard to imagine being parent to a "kid" that old, isn't it? My eldest will be 29.

Lynn is 50 today. I take her out to dinner tonight. A good dear friend I work for at night wanted to treat her at Carmelo's, but instead she wants to be casual and have a good steak at the Texas Roadhouse. It's her birthday. Who am I to argue?
