ORIGINAL: VincentGrayson I was with you up until the Big Lebowski. How can anyone hate the Big Lebowski? IMO, the movie is pure garbage, pure garbage and I like the Coen Bros. I Like Raising Arizona, O Brother Where art thou? and of course FARGO. But that movie is just horrid.

In my opinion, to be the "worst" a movie has to be truly bad, not simply disappointing. I'd never put Spiderman III in "worst" status. I'd not even put X-Men 3 in "worst" status, even though I thought it was far worse than Spiderman III. Usually I can't make it through one of the "worst" movies. But of those that I've at least partially seen, I nominate these... Elektra Catwoman The Lake House (US version) Shanghi Surprise Generally, anything with a III or IV after it stands a pretty good chance...of being bad.

BUG. Two hours of mind-bending BOREDOM. Roomie went to bed after the first hour. It is basically a movie about two people going nuts, with disasterous results. Plus a sex scene that left far too little to the imagination. I ended up fast forwarding through a lot of the rants.

Worst movie I ever saw was "Love Letter" or "The Love Letter", a Hallmark movie. My DH and I just kept watching thinking, "It HAS to get better...it just HAS to." But it only got worse. Can you say "Cheesy"?

Marine Wreslers should not make movies, yes even the rock. I hope he jumps out of a boat in the middle of a lake.

I'm glad someone else didn't like Chicago. The absolute worst movie was Dumb and Dumberer. I still can't believe I watched it through. It was like a train wreck where I couldn't quit watching.

IN high school my youth group went to see a 3-D movie called "Comin' at ya"......it was all stupid 3-D effects with no plot and more inapprpriate stuff than we bargained for; I felt guilty for seeing it, and I don't think very many parents knew the content. More recently I found American Beauty disgusting and refused to watch after the first 10 or 15 minutes.

AS far as family movies go, I actually fell asleep in the theater while watching Surf's Up, so I guesstimate a pretty low rating for that one too. A kid's movie should at least keep me laughing and awake.

ORIGINAL: StephK I'm glad someone else didn't like Chicago. Yeah...I wanted to like it, I like musicals, but I just couldn't. I'm not a fan of either Renee Zelleweger or Catherine Zeta-Jones, so it just never worked for me. Most recently, I caught a movie on Sci-Fi channel called "The Gravedancers"...it was a scary type and I was in the mood for something scary. Unfortunately it was not scary, just dumb.

The Blair Witch Project This was by far the WORST movie I have ever seen. It was a complete waste film, my time, and money and I seriously ask God's forgiveness for going to watch this movie!! What was I thinking! Apparently, I wasn't.

Aww, c'mon-- The Family Man was a Nic Cage movie in the tradition of A Christmas Carol that was sweet and he was really great to watch with Tea Leoni and their little co-stars. I'll give you, that it wasn't Oscar-worthy, but it wasn't completely objectionable.

Anything in the last decade with Nic Cage Aw, c'mon! Surely you can't say that about The Rock, ConAir, or National Treasure?! I know that they weren't exactly on par with, oh, let's say Gone With The Wind, but they were actually pretty good IMOHO. Duane
