LOL Roberta, or should I say Robert_ ?

How long have you been posting/lurking?: Just started

What do you enjoy doing?: I don't know it has been a long time since I have really had any fun. I am for what the moment has in store. I really love living and life and what it has to offer.

Tell us a little about yourself: I am a truck driver I stay on the road most of the time. I have been searching for away to get my walk with God and his Son our savior. See there is avoid in my heart that has been there for along time. I guess since I have been driving maybe longer. I feel like he is in my heart but I really never have found the time to be able to worship him nor fellowship with anyone. I am a single man of 50 yrs now. I was married that marriage ended up in a divorce back in 89. Never remarried so there is another void in my heart. Something told while I like to search the web. Start putting in what I can to find some answers. Maybe some help that there might be someone like me going through the difficulties of worship as well as fellowship. I am a good nature kind of person and get along with others even when it is hard.

How long have you been posting/lurking?: Just joined the forum community today 30 Jan. 2009

What do you enjoy doing?: Singing, listening to music, writing poetry & short stories & blogs on my MySpace, photography, traveling, scrapbooking/card making, cooking/baking, watching baseball and football--sometimes hockey, chatting with friends online

Tell us a little about yourself:
Currently I'm 24...if you like to go bow hunting opening day is when I celebrate my birthday. Only child, but anybody who knows me will tell you that I act far far from the stereotype. I've been picked on all my young adult days for being short--I'm only 5'0". Auburn hair and brown eyes, and a smile that even strangers compliment me on! I work part-time second shift as custodian where my mom works...basically I clean up after men (truck drivers & mechanics) for 4-5 hours Sunday thru Thursday. Never been in a relationship, or on a date for that matter...seems guys I like are always taken ornot interested and the interested ones scare me, so I run away from them! LOL Try to have an optimisitc look on life and love to help people and bring joy into others lives. And I quote: People who don't know me think I'm quiet. Those who know me wish I was.

What do you enjoy doing?: Spending time with God, serving at chuch, nature walks by the MS river, reading, listening to contemporary Christian music, travel and visiting with family and friends which is not often enough. I can't forget the mini make over projects I sometimes take on around my apartment.

Tell us a little about yourself: I'm a vibrant age of 40. Single again after many years of marriage to one guy. Easy to read. Well rounded yet balanced. Laid back, good listener and quality friend material I've been told.

How long have you been posting/lurking?: Just started lurking about 2 weeks ago, and I'll probably continue lurking for the most part. Life is pretty busy and I really don't have a lot of time for the internet at this point - but I would be a quick addict if more time was available!

What do you enjoy doing?: I enjoy about anything where people are involved - a definite extrovert! In my by-myself-time I love to do deep study of the Word and when I'm stressed there is nothing like watching the big fluffy summer time clouds floating around in the sky.... Of course this doesn't work well when the temperature is -11 and there is freezing rain falling from said sky.... Spring come quickly!

Tell us a little about yourself: I'm a single mother of 3 teen-agers as of yesterday (That would mean my youngest turned 13)... all very busy, and none with driver's licenses. I work full time at a not for profit social services type agency. I love my job although it is a never-ending and impossible task.... but it provides a great opportunity to serve people. I do look forward to getting to know some of the posters here... I've made some great friends around the world through the internet and there is always room for more!

Hi, I messed up. I was thinking of leaving crosswalk and could not find the instructions or button for de-activation and sent an e-mail to the powers that be and instead of getting instructions I was just cut off. So when I tried to get into my account to access my pm's I couldn't do it. When I went to re-activate my account it wouldn't let me use my old name so I am here notifying everyone that I once was tz3 and my new name is now heliftsmeup.

Hey tz3 I am glad you did not leave. I know often the temptation to do so is strong. I usually take time away and then come back after spending some time talking to the Lord.

I like your new name. Very true isn't it. He always lifts us up no matter how the world tries to hold us down.

How long have you been posting/lurking?: a week

What do you enjoy doing?: Outdoorsy stuff—camping, canoeing, hiking, biking, gardening (I have a few small organic perennial gardens)... I love doing artsy stuff as well—amateur photography, painting/drawing, music (piano and singing), writing (creative writing, poetry, journalism) etc. AND I also am fascinated with science—specifically as it pertains to people. I like to read about biomedicine and natural health as well as brain science (especially neurological studies and theories that are connected to metabolic illness, autoimmune disease and neurodegeneration)

Tell us a little about yourself: I'm turning 31 this spring; I've never been married; I'm outgoing but tend to prefer one-on-one chats/discussions (or small groups of close friends or family); I've dated very minimally (I've truly never felt like I met the right person—not even close); I eat a 75% raw vegan diet for my health (I'm currently recovering from celiac disease), and I don't intend to brag, but I can make a mean salad—haha ; lastly, I'm a minimalist in terms of possessions and lifestyle. My experience with long-term illness has, over time, adjusted my values on certain things. I like to live simply and don't particulary value status or material things.

other: above all else, my primary interest—my main focus—is my spiritual life. I am where I am because the Lord has brought me here—and for the most part, though I've had troubles and sickness, I'm grateful for the life He has given me.

How long have you been posting/lurking?: Only the last few days...

What do you enjoy doing?: I enjoy being outdoors. I enjoy time at the beach, whether it is swimming, boating, fishing, or jet-skiing. I love to garden. The scent of flowers in the warm summer air is so relaxing. I enjoy traveling and anything I can get dirty in. I love cars. I enjoy racing and working on them with my brother. (I am still a beginner, but I enjoy every minute of it.) I love learning new things and meeting new people.

Tell us a little about yourself: Well, I will be 29 this summer. I have never been married and have no children. As anyone else here can attest to, I too have been through some hard times in my life. The Lord has blessed me and has seen me through all of them. I am truly grateful for His love and grace. I have been saved and I have wandered. But by the grace of the Lord, he has put me through a series of events that now proves to me that He has a purpose for me. The road has been long and difficult but I can affirm that the Lord has saved me more times than I can express. I look forward to walking closer with the Lord. He knows my heart and loves me unconditionally.

Well, I've been on here a while but never really introduced myself formally...

Name: Wow, I have a lot! People here on CCM call me MainstayNut, MSNut, or just Mainstay for short. I have like 5,000 nicknames...Boo, the Phantom (my gaming name!), and Bebah....hehe.

Location: I live down where it's humid, hot, and never gets below 20 degrees unless the atmosphere is seriously messed up.

How long have you been posting/lurking?: About 2 months now. My good friend jesuschick247 talked me into joining...we originally met on a different forum.

What do you enjoy doing?: Drawing, painting, and singing...but I'm still working on all of those. I like talking with my friends, shopping, hanging out here, listening to music, and watching cheesy movies. But one of my favorite things to do is be in the center of God's hand.

Tell us a little about yourself: As most people know already, I'm 14 (15 in 4 days though....) and pretty outspoken. I have 2 siblings - one older sister and one younger brother. I homeschool and always have. I love my Jesus...He's my sustainer. I wouldn't be much without Him. Most teenagers are just like, "Ah, whatever. Church-yeah I go, but only because I have to." But I'm proud to say I'm serious about my faith. Hmm...I love Mainstay obviously, but they aren't my life. If I seem a little geeked-out over them it's because they've touched me in so many ways that people just couldn't. Music does that to me I guess....hehe. But yeah, I'm MainstayNut and welcome to all the new peeps!
