I saw that last night. I LOVED it. It was too short, IMO. I think it could've gone a tad longer. But mad it was good. I love Morgan Freeman.

I forget to recommend "Ever After." It's take-your-breath-away romantic! No sex! We own it, and it's one of our favorites!

I tried to post yesterday, but it wouldn't let me. Don and Tim were online all day today. Now I'm tired. My scooter up and died on me uptown today. I had to flag someone to call Nathan ttob come get me. It went from running fine to deader than a doorknob in seconds. quote:

Oh my, Marsha! I'm glad you were able to get hold of Nathan. Was the weather hot there today -- it's been in the upper 80s/lower 90s here this week, so would have been pretty miserable out. I hope you didn't have to be out in the heat too long. Bill, I found the movie on PPV, so am thinking about renting it later this week. Bill & I are in the process of watching The River Wild -- an oldie, to be sure, but still good. We started it last night but conked out before it was over, so will finish it tonight.

Thanks for the suggestions, Deb. I've seen Mr. Holland's Opus. Have you seen Music of the Heart? I really liked that one also. I'll check the others out; I'm not fond of really old movies, but I'm trying to broaden my horizen. quote:

Sorry about your scooter, Marsha. Having been though the last four months with my wheelchair, I'll sure be praying for you! I hope you're on better insurance than Medicare! Yes, we saw Music of the Heart recently. We thought the ending was contrived. Then we read that it was a true story! Boy, were we embarrassed!

I'm doing as well as I ever do anymore. This Wednesday, I'm going to see the doctor who originally diagnosed my hip. I'm not sure he can provide answers, but maybe he can or else refer me. It seems like my muscles 'zone out', including my facial muscles. When that happens, I do well not to talk at all. If the problem is with my muscles, is it eventually going to get my heart as well? Has progression of time really changed treatment of my hip, or does he still say only water exercise? I don't have the art of small talk, which is why my thread is dying. Plus, like me, most of my old faithfuls have cut back on time spent here. My emotions go up and down, depending on how the boys are doing at the time. Nathan so badly wants to meet the love of his life. He's looking in the wrong places and getting let down. He thinks he wants to turn from his faith. It's so much in every fiber of his being that he can't get away from it really. Girls in the general population want to move to sex immediately, then if you discover you like each other, it's cool. Nathan has kept himself for twenty years and isn't ready to give it so casually. Tim listen to guys like Mark Cahill a lot, online. He does landscaping with a teacher, when work is available. He's become a competent, hard worker. This teacher asked him what he did with Tim B---. Tim always did mature at his own pace. Everyone was so concerned about his laziness that I felt like a bad mom for not over-reacting. Now I'm so proud of Tim and I feel I let God down for letting others bring me out of rest. Tim is learning at a very young age about how consequences of past actions effect today. It's a bit heartbreaking to watch, but if lesson learned stays with him, he's set for life. He wanted to run for Chaplin and no one would run against him. Then it was discovered that he had a final grade lower than a C. He couldn't run. He's at the bottom of his class, although he's very bright.

Sorry you're discouraged, Marsha, though it's not hard to understand. Small talk online frustrates me. Since typing is more of an effort (though easier for me than you), I want my posts to actually say something! But I'm learning to be playful here, and I must admit that it feels good. You and the boys are in my prayers.

Oh, my! I am indulging with Frisch's Hot Fudge Cake!! I've been craving it and now I'm going to give in. It's a nice, summery day here. I watched Nathan work outside for a while. He bought some orange dwarf lilies. Tho' not my choice color, they are prettier than tiger lilies. I miss not going to church. It only makes sense to move closer to the people. Pat still thinks I should wait another
