Sharon... I was working on some graphics this weekend... I think you'd like them!!!

I have plans for them..... I'm sooo excited to tell you about them!!!

The more and more I work with them... the better and better they get!

My stuff will never be 'Sharon' worthy, though!!! You're the queen!!

Hi Barb!! Have all the pictures in tact!! YAY! That was a big thing for me when I went down. Thankfully, I was able to copy most everything to 2 jump drives!

Rachel! I LOVE your avatar...I am assuming that is one of the things you have done with your graphics? It's so bright and colorful and meaningful in message. And Rachel...worthy smorthy, queen, schmeen! I love seeing what others do and especially the excitement in your doing them!! You go girl!! Joy! Yes, my little Happy Mac, and I was actually going to sign back on with him as my avatar and then found out that he is dead. Apple no longer uses that icon!! Came across an article about it.

I have a MAC btw and it rules! I've had three pcs throughout college and they all gave me trouble. Two years and barely a problem with my G5. PCs that don't have many problems is 1 out of 100.

Hey Trishy, THANKS!! You have a G5, I'm jealous! I'm on my little G3 OS 9 yet but like Ben so graciously says...that's okay as long as it got me back here!!

My Outlook Express is really old and un-updateable now though as the original software to my computer was reinstalled and IE is no longer available from Microsoft for Mac. When/IF the day comes for a new puter I will be doing a whole other mail thing.

I DO have all my important pictures, avatars etc. I am so completely thrilled by that! So know that I have all your stuff too Trishy and John.

Well, actually, that may be a possibility...but doubtful. LOL! I have a dear friend who will keep me up to date with PhotoShop when the time comes and all. But IF I got a PC for mostly internet and all that I would still keep my current puter so I still would have access to certain stuff.
But right now, neither is in my near future.

Status: offline 		It's an Irish term, I think. Or is it Scottish? Somewhere around there anyway. Cockles are small shellfish. Supposedly they make people very happy.

Here's what I found on your discussion...

One of the meanings of "cockle" is the chamber of a kiln: in reference to the heart, it refers to the chambers, of which there are four (two atria and two ventricles). The heart has always been associated with emotions, especially love, excitement and fear, probably because when we feel a strong emotion we feel our heart thumping and beating faster. So when something "warms the cockles of our heart", it is a reference to something pleasant that makes our heart beat faster and makes us feel good. It is probably also the origin of the saying that something gives us that "warm and fuzzy feeling".

The cockles of the heart are its ventricles, named by some in Latin as "cochleae cordis", from "cochlea" (snail), alluding to their shape. The saying means to warm and gratify one's deepest feelings.

I need bigger hard drive, I am waiting to upgrade to Leopard before I do any "renovations" to my 5 year old mac. Course I could get a pc and vista and be one of the millions of people who are finding out its Bills latest goof (Windows Millenium anyone????)

Oh well, time to get off the Mac and go to work and do penance for something by being chained to a P.C. all day

ROFLOL I KNEW I could count on you Ryan!!

OS 9 is proving, as far as seeing certain things on the internet involving flash, but I am managing until I can get into OSX. I do get to use that system at work on a few of the puters, but the main one I'm using there is still in OS9 too and managing quite well with the main program I use which is called Rampage. Also can pull files in great on program called Fetch with my little running dog. LOL!
