Yep, things are really... umm... hopping around here. Nice avitar there Benny Bunny.
So, tonight is the big guitar workshop with Chris Proctor. There are four or five of us going, including our bass player, a girl almost 16. She's very cool. I'm looking forward to it.
No, we didn't bring guitars with us. In past workshops we have, and I mentioned it to the band. They weren't so sure and asked me to call and ask beforehand. So, I called and they said not to bring a guitar. It was more of a sit-and-listen type deal.
It was very good. Chris Proctor is awesome! He has helped Taylor design some of their guitars. He played a 12-string. One of the guys knew that I alread had an itch for one of those.
Not buying one just yet, but maybe someday if I save up my allowance...
Yes, we did have a lot of fun. He was interesting and funny. And, he gave us some excellent pointers to take home with us. Now of course I need new equipment... different picks, guitars, other toys.
Even more smileys!
More problems at work... At least nobody got hurt, but there was an explosion that damaged some equipment. Fixing it will take a long time. We are off of ten-hour days right now, but I'm working day shift tomorrow, and afternoon shift on Sunday. The offered other shifts too. The band plays this Sunday, so I hafta be there.
Hay Ray! I haven't said hi to you in a very long time! Have a wonderful awsome blessed day!!!!
Glad nobody was hurt, but that is not going to make your schedule any easier, huh? Or will it? Does it mean you are going to get a little more sleep?
Yeah, the last time we had a major explosion (at a different location), the debris was scattered such that I would have been hit by shrapnel where I had previously been working nearby. Another incident (yet a another location) a few years ago was a 3000# steam pipe that bust. I had been right there only a few hours earlier.
As far as the shedule, it's still up in the air right now. There is more overtime on the calender coming up at the end of the month for a different project. Beyond this weekend, there may not be too much overtime to fix the latest problem, but some at least. It will take months to get it back up and running again.

Hi Dee Dee!
Glad to have you here. I haven't been around much lately either.
