yeah!!!!!!! We just talk to the people at the EOH in charge of the Circus Camp that we wanted to send the boys to and... They are each getting a $100 scholarship to go!!!!! We are borrowing the rest of the money from my mom (which we will pay back) because it is too quick to come up with it before we need to pay it, and she really wants them to be able to go as well, but they are going! I think that this will be really great for them.

Please keep a friend of ours in prayer. His name is Jim. He suffers from severe depression..and we got a call from our youth pastor yesterday asking if we have heard from him the past 2 to 3 day....one of Jim's co-workers had called Pastor Jeff and told him that she had taken him to a hospital in the area becaue he had taken an overdose of sleeping pills. His will was laid out on the table with Pastor Jeff's name and number on it. He is still in the hospital..and probably will be for a while. Please pray for him...he is a Christian...but he is your stereotypical genius mind/messed up emotions person. He has struggled with depression ever since we have known him... Pray for God to heal his mind and emotions as well as his body.

My grandfather just called and needs to go to the ER because he just had a TIA. This is the same grandfather who had the quadruple bypass not too long ago.

Lisa is experiencing her worst migraine attack in months, and is in a lot of pain, and is feeling sick to her stomach from it. Thanks for your prayers.

Pray that God will provide DH with a good paying job. He was going to take a low paying job that was a night shift, but came to realize that those hours would not be beneficial for anyone. We have enough in our savings for him to "relax" for a little while, but we would still like prayer that God would send the right job his way.

I have a job interview at a bank in an hour. This would be for something I am already trained in, although it has been several years since I've held a banking position. Pay is decent and good benefits even for part-time, working only during school hours, we already bank with this company.

Yesterday: Aunt Shirley has been going to the chiropractor with us. It is hard for her and tiring for her to go. She didn't feel like it was doing any good and came out to the kitchen to get some coffee and tell us that she wasn't going to go anymore. She went over to the cupboard and stood up to get up a mug. my mom looked up at her and gasped. She told me to look. I looked up, gasped, and would have fallen over if I hadn't been sitting already. You see, after her last episode a few months ago, AS (who used to be the same hight as me- 5"6") was stooped over just above her walker, unable to get any straighter. She was only as high as my chest. I don't know when exactly that it happened, but she is now standing really straight looking and is now about 7" taller than she was last month! Praise The Lord! (happy tears) God is surely with us!

We just got back from the dentist and will be visiting an oral surgeon this afternoon. Mark (Ds13) has what the dentist thinks is a pyogenic granuloma which said dentist removed 2 1/2 weeks ago. It has returned with a vengeance. I can't seem to get ahold of Dh so I guess I'm on my own for this one. I did the online research and am fine with what I've found. And with what our dentist told me he thinks it is. However, my mommy-tummy is not very happy at the moment.

I really don't like doctors- they make me feel stupid and can do a real number on my self esteem/self image. I always forget to ask, or purposely don't ask, the questions I NEED to ask because of this. Yes, I have taken in lists and shoved them to the bottom of my bag after the doc said hello Mrs. Roper. The last doc I had DID NOT help any- She seriously had the bedside manner of a Rabid Chipmunk. bad bad bad She is GONE NOW *happy dance* I found that out when I called to change doctors and make a follow-up for my shoulder and a few other things that need taken care of. both of them scare me and I worry I won't be able to properly voice my concerns or that the doc will not see that they REALLY are concerns for me and play them down. #1 is My Positive TB test back in 2003. I am a carrier. I took the meds to "kill it" but once positive ALWAYS positive. They said X-rays every 5 years back then but with hearing about the two full blown cases in the news since spring and knowing the breathing issues that I have developed this past year I really want that Chest X ray now not next year. #2 is a scaly patch on my nose. it has been there for a while now- Probably 2 years. Prior to may it was the size of a pencil eraser. I got a sunburn in may at Jerry's graduation and my nose peeled now the spot is 3x the size it was prior to the burn. I also need to ask about a baseline Mammogram as I have two great aunts (Maternal side) that have had breast cancer. Joy Joy right. Right. Please pray that Jerry can go with me to encourage me and that I will have the strength to say what I need to say and ask the questions I need to ask. Also a really sweet kind caring doc would be NICE and different for a change. ~ezri

*sigh* I am peeing some blood again. The antibiotics got rid of my lovely "multiple flora and fauna" UTI that had gone into my kidneys...but something is still not right. I am waiting until Monday to see a doctor becuase I have no intentions of going to an ER for something that isn't an emergency. I am just tired of this. *sigh*

This is Ezri's Eldest, Trill. mom had to take dad to the hospital this morning around 6:30am. He has been running a mid grade fever, body ache and a few other flu like symptoms since late Friday, anyway, he started going like he had kidney stones, which he has had before, but then he stopped going, and started vomiting. so we don't quite know what is going on. Please pray, I'll try to come back at a reasonable hour and answer any questions ya'll might have. ~Trillian (this post was posted in pink because ma always does)

I'm back- The doc says he thinks Jerry has Rocky Mountain Spotted Fever(RMSF). We won't have those lab results back til Monday or Tuesday though. He gave him the treatment to take for RMSF today and told him to go ahead and start taking it. they also said that the Sweats, vomiting, and diarrhea had likely dehydrated him even with him pushing fluids the last 2 days so they pushed a bag and a half of fluids into him. He is rather miserable and horribly tired right now. ~ezri

My sister just called and said a neighbor called her to say my mom is being taken to the hospital. No details as to why. I was just talking to mom less than a half hour before the call and she was fine, but very stressed about possibly selling her house. She was to meet with someone at the bank at 3 to discuss a bridge loan so she could move without selling her house first. The call from the neighbor came at just a little after 3, so something had to have come up very quickly.

I finally got a call back. Apparently, as she was trying to get out of the realtor's car, she slipped and probably broke her arm. This is the same arm she broke less than two years ago. They haven't been able to get xrays yet to tell for sure.

My brother called me today to see if I could take his daughter, C (10 months), because her mother was hysterical and couldn't have her right then. Apparently K (C's mother...my brother's ex-gf) was talking to a friend and he wanted her to go out with him. This wasn't the first time he had asked and he was upset when she said no. When they got off the phone, he hung himself. She is very very upset, sure that it was her fault. Please pray: -for K...that she would be drawn to Christ. She has attended church with my parents before and their pastor is probably on the phone with her right now. -for M (my brother)...that he also would be drawn to Christ, first. Second, to reconcile with K so that C can grow up in an intact home. He is very concerned for her, not just for his daughter. -for me...I will have C until Friday night, when my brother gets home from his out of town job. She's never spent the night here and can be a tempermental little one. Hannah is also recovering from strep, so we are all in need of a little extra strength and grace.

I had a job interview today. My prayer is NOT that I will get the job...but that the Lord's will be done..if that means I get the job great...if not..that's okay too.

Now that all the pain meds are worn off my lower right jaw is starting to ache (from all the pulling and prodding done earlier). I also have a terrible headache. I just took a couple Tylenol PM. I am starting to think I should have had the antibiotic filled tonight because as the infection starts healing the pain will too to a degree. Although, I don't really think that it's the infection itself that hurts now just sore from being agitated. I don't know. I can't think straight right now.

Hello folks- I am dropping in to say that I am not in hiding with "that" book... My Honey's 18 yo niece who is legally blind was assaulted last night at a summer program she was attending in Raliegh. We got the call at 3:00am and have bee going since then. She is "okay" physically but torn emotionally. Keep her and her folks in your prayers. They know who did it and he has been taken in ands questioned and all but charges are still pending. Her folks got out here about 8am. We expect they will be heading out home around 6:30pm Thanks for your prayers. ~ezri

Update on mom's breast cancer... It was supposed to be a simple lumpectomy followed by radiation. She ended up needing a mastectomy. Nodes were positive. She was to go for a CAT scan, bone scan, and PET. The CAT scan came back, and the doctor has also ordered a MRI. So things are not looking good. Yesterday, grandpa (mom's dad) fell and broke his hip. He was supposed to have surgery today but was not stable enough. Maybe tomorrow. He has had a series of strokes starting in November. He needs a pace maker, but he was not strong enough for that surgery. One of the chambers of his heart 'forgets' to beat, leading to pooling/clotting of blood. He is on blood thinners for that. Obviously, not the idea surgical candidate... He will be 90 in September.

We are still having a difficult time with AS. Russ is trying to confront her on certain issues, but it is slow going, and we are not sure how much difference it makes yet. Russ is also calling his mother so that she can encourage her. AS is also irritated my mom (wish is amazing) and my mother. She has effectively disrupted the flow of the house hold. I have had to take extreme (for us) measures to cope. Now I am working on getting things back to smooth running again. Please pray for my Aunt, and that we can get things on the right foot again. On top of the whole thing with the adoption and other stuff, it has been rather depressing, but I am ready to take things on again. Oh, and i am not feeling up to par either.
