Hi everybody.

Trish takes Ralph to the vet to get bathed and get his shots. She leaves the bill for Denny as it's his dog.

After arriving home, she puts out some kibble for him and gives him fresh water.

There you go, one clean Ralph. He's already been out in the yard, running around with Bailey. And Bailey is still in one piece. They were playing tug of war with a couple of Bailey's ropes and chasing after his tennis balls. He had a hard time keeping up with Bailey, so he should sleep well after he's had something to eat.

Who's next on the roster to walk him?

How did you bathe him all by yourself, Trish? I tried, but he wouldn't cooperate! Anyway, many thanks!

Morning, James! I actually got back Saturday afternoon, but I came back with my feet somewhat messed up. So, I've spent a good number of hours on the sofa with my feet higher than my heart, trying to get the swelling to go down. Man, they look worse than they feel, I have to admit.

Actually, they don't hurt. They swelled up about mid-week, during the hike, and I have a few blisters that are healing. Oh, and it looks like I'm going to lose at least two toenails. Later, anyway.

I hope to give the story in my blog at the end of the day.

I'll second that. Glad you got through the hike, and that you've been missed around here. It's good to have you back. Sorry your feet got such a hammering. Take care of yourself.

(((((((((((((((((((((DARCY))))))))))))))))))))))))))

Deb, I got the vet to bathe and groom Ralph. He was too big to handle on my own. I tried using the tub that I bathe Bailey in, but he kept chewing it and it doesn't hold water very well now.

Than definitely bill Denny, Trish! If he had helped with Ralph in the first place, a visit to the vet would have never been necessary.

Good to have you back, Darcy, though I'm very concerned about your feet and toenails. I'm eager to read all about your trip.

Evening, all!

Wow, what a day. The blisters are being a problem right now, I can't wear anything but sandals. And my Birks are shifting around and causing me problems, so I had to go buy some Tevas over at REI so I have some sandals I can work (and work out) in. Got some Midol so I can have a diuretic for the swelling, and some fresh bandaids. The swelling isn't as bad as it was, anyway.

And let's not forget, I'm about to move. Lots of work to do here, getting ready for it.

Hiya, Cammo!

Just sitting here reading a thread for a few minutes while getting a bit of rest. I don't think I'll stay up late tonight, it's gonna be stark-raving crazy here tomorrow!

I hadn't forgotten your move. When is the big day, Darcy? Have you got friends helping you to move?

Argh, Moving!!!

I had forgotten about it, but that's probably because my brain just shuts down at the very mention of the word. I hate moving!!! And, no, that's not being dramatic in my use of the English language.

I hope it's a smooth one for you Darcy!

Kylie

I get the key to the new place on Friday, then a lot of stuff will be moving on Saturday. The thing is, stuff will be going to multiple places, since I am moving to a much smaller place! Sigh.....

I have broken out in hives. I'm itching like crazy. I'm on Benedryl, and it doesn't help as much as I'd like.

Nope.

Y'know, I just love stress. Between the damage to my feet, the hives, my job, and the move, I think I'm about ready to peg the stress-o-meter.
