Well the new season begins tonight y'all. It looks like an exciting cast and set of twists. Just thought I'd start this thread so that we could discuss what goes on.[;)]

Well, I'm looking forward to the new season, but I really hoped we'd get a more broad-range group of houseguests. Only 2 over the age of 30?

I'm also going to get pretty tired of having TWO flamboyant gay guys ... I'm hoping that Joe has already creeped everyone out enough that they'll cut him loose early.

'can't handle 2 gay guys in a house 24/7 so one of them will have to go. I think the father/daughter relationship will be very interesting to watch. Her emotions last night- 'can imagine what was she feeling when her father walked in the room.

What do you all think of Kail? I think she's a believer and so far she's doing just fine. I thought it was smart of her whom she nominated but I was hoping that she would nominate at least Joe (that guy is just loud and annoying). Eric for some reason reminds me of James. And that one girl Jen, how shallow can a person be crying over her picture [:'(] I do get emotional though with Daniele and her Dad. I'd like to see where that relationship will go.

I like Kail (so far) ... but I've always kind-of liked the older players (not TOO old) over the young party-people.

That thing with Jen and the picture was hilarious! I loved the music they were playing under the clips ... how pathetic!

I almost forgot the music [:D]-- the violin music ...that was funny. She reminds me of...I can't remember her name but she won that Tyra Banks model show and later married Peter Brady.

I love this season's cast, seems like they're going to make it exciting to watch. Just curious though as to what happens if America's player gets nominated and voted out? Isn't he kind of working for the producers?

I think I heard them say that he (Eric) CAN get voted out, just like everyone else can. So I guess if he's out in the 2nd or 3rd week ... well, nice idea, Big Brother!

I Tried to watch the first episode but I can't cause I live outside the US.

I like Kali as well. And think the Whole Jen picture thing is pretty darn funny. Hope that one of the two gay guys goes soon cause I am almost sick of there fighting. Plus the Dad Daughter twist is going to be interesting as well

I think this will be the last season of BB. All-Stars topped it out. This season is bad already, IMHO. Maybe the thing with Danielle and Evil Dick is ok, but the people just aren't that dynamic. No one can top Boogie and Will...ya know...

No way, I disagree. IMO All Stars for the most part was boring. Things didn't really even begin until several weeks into it. I don't think this is the end of BB, certainly hope not! (but I agree Will was the best, Boogie is his puppet so I can't give him too much credit.)

It's too early to tell what's going to happen but I'm enjoying it. I thought the drama with Jen was funny, first the picture fiasco and then the lie about Nick. Did she think he wouldn't confront her??

I'm also wondering what the issues between Daniele and her father are. She hasn't explained it. He keeps saying "she hasn't talked to me in years". I'm wondering what led to that estrangement. I guess we'll find out.

She told some other houseguests that Nick (the muscled former NFL football player) tried to kiss her but she turned him down. He was told, and confronted her about it. It was pretty obvious that she was making it all up. She seems to live in a fantasy world.

I actually like this season a lot better. In All stars you knew everyone, and you knew that everyone knew everyone else and how they react so you wouldn't expect a whole lot of surprises.

I may not like the twists this year and think that the producers are running out of ideas, but nevertheless all the people seem to have personalities that could create a lot of excitement to watch.

Well, I'm kinda surprised that Jen won HoH ... she seems like a total ditz!

Does anyone know who the one person was who voted for Amber? They were going to announce it on the Early Show today (I don't know why ... like it's some big important announcement or something!). Just wondering. I was surprised that it was that lopsided. Carol really didn't seem that annoying ... and Amber's constant tears ARE. Plus her rambling about how God meant for her to be up on the block the first week, but would "do the right thing" (???) and keep her in the house. Please.
