Since we have a thread for concerts you recently attended and since I couldn't find one for this subject, I thought I would start one for concerts you plan to attend.

GVfan, you're avatar of you and Gerald Wolfe inspired me to start this thread. Why? Because my son and I are going to see Greater Vision next Sunday July 22nd, in West Chester, Ohio! Hopefully I will get some good pictures. If I do, I will gladly share them with you.

My son and I will also be attending the Legacy Five Labor Day weekend celebration in September AND the Memorial Day celebration in 2008.

Plus, we will be going to the concerts on two of the three nights for the Gabbard Homecoming in Falmouth, KY in August. The first night features the Gabbards, Tim Lovelace, and Karen Peck and New River. The second night features the Gabbards, Tim Lovelace, Brian Free and Assurance, and Inheritence. Unfortunately, we won't be able to make it the third night which features the Gabbards, the Jay Stone Singers, the Freemans, and Mike and Kelly Bowling.

I hope to see Signature Sound on September 8 in Akron, Ohio and the Perrys on October 5th in Shelby, Ohio.

I also hope to see the last three day of NQC.

And that, I'm afraid, is currently my concert schedule...for the rest of the year.

I saw a sign this morning that indicated the Hoppers will be in the Talbott/Morristown area this week. I will check it out on the return trip to M'town.

Great! I know you will enjoy GV and I'd love to see some pictures! My husband and I went to L5's Labor Day celebration last year and really enjoyed it. We went to the Memorial Day 2007 and have our reservations for Memorial Day 2008, too. so, we'll have to meet then!

GVfan. My husband and I were at L5 Memorial Day event. We didn't stay at Opryland Hotel. It was just as easy to drive home.

I'm sorry to hear that you were there and I didn't get to meet you!
It costs a chunk of $$ to stay at the Opryland, but we love it!

Maybe we can meet you at the concert. We are staying at Super 8 Motel. Be there Tues - Fri nights. Have to come home on Saturday. My mother is celebrating her 90 birthday with big party. I don't have lots of $$$.

That works for me! I would definitely like to meet some of the people on here sooner or later. Even though I am not a prolific poster and haven't gotten to know anyone that well in the year I have been on here, I feel like I know a bunch of you from the posts I have read. And of course I have received some PM's from several people and got to know them better that way too.

I haven't seen an SG concert in a long time, but I'm going to try and go see Gold City in Snellville, GA next month....

I hope to see the Hoppers in Sevierville, Tennessee on Aug. 13.

I have tickets to the Gatlinburg 3-day concerts over Labor Day.

I have tickets to the Gaither Family Fest 3-day concert next year over Memorial Day.

I think the Greenes are going to be at the New Beverly Baptist Church on July 21, which is this Saturday - but I'm not positive. I thought that is what Tony said at the Mull's singing a couple of weeks ago.

I'd like to go to more concerts, but it's hard since I go by myself.

Everyone - feel free to send me a PM if you know of any gospel concerts reasonably close to Knoxville, Tennessee. Thanks!

We are currently holding tickets at the Boyd Christian Church, Dix, IL, to see the Booth Bros. and Talley Trio on August 10. This will be the 3rd yr in a row for that combo to appear there. Two years ago Anthony Burger was also there on the same night.

Greater Vision will be in concert at their home church, First Baptist Church of Morristown, TN on August 5th at the evening service (7pm). That's just about 40 miles or so from Knoxville. Dinana, hubby and I went for their home-church concert last year (from Atlanta!)and sat on the front row! We really enjoyed it.

P.S. The church had some of their banners displayed that night and they were beautiful! (I make church banners, so I was particularly interested in them.)

Mark Trammell Trio Homecoming is next week and I'm looking forward to that. August is up in the air right now but will be in Gainesville GA 8/11 for MTT & Perrys, I know there are other groups there but don't remember them at the moment.

Labor Day weekend will see Jason Crabb, local favorites The Burns Brothers, Brian Free & Assurance, the Kingsmen and the McKameys at Table Rock SC and we'll be there both nights. Then it's on to the NQC!!!!

Next month is a big concert month for me. I will be attending one day of the annual Brumley singing in Lebanon, MO. Gold City & Brian Free & Assurance will be on that night. I've forgotten who else will be there. The Primitives, I think. That is Aug. 1st.

Aug. 16th, I will be at one day of the Seminole Singing, in OK where Brian Free & Assurance will be along with Mark Trammell Trio, Karen Peck & New River, The Arnolds, & Aaron Wilburn.

On Aug. 2nd David Phelps is coming to MY town! And on Aug. 18th, Ernie Haase & Signature Sound will be in town! Whew! What a month!
