More pics from our dinner at Red Lobter tonight. It was my daughter's SS teachers' birthday. Caught a beautiful sunset on the way home. What a blessing!

We had a great time at Red Lobster! I think the waiters were glad to see us go, though. They were practically tripping over the kids because they sat us close to the lobster tank and the kids had to keep going to look at them.

Our latest adventure.....we went to the museum today to see "The Genius of Leonardo" exhibit. It was fun, but exhausting. Very hands-on and several groups of screaming kids running around.

While I was out today shopping for mom's birthday cake (a yummy black forest cake is what I chose, btw), I saw this book and had to get it for my mom. I can't wait for her to finish it so I can read it myself. It looks really interesting. If she doesn't read it right away, I may have to go buy another copy for myself.
We had a grand time at my sisters. Mom dug out the slide projector and brought the boxes (2 large boxes full of reels) of slides so we could look at them. I am on a mission now to get the slides scanned somehow and onto cd's for my sisters and myself. They were great. Some had faded pretty badly, but may be salvageable with the magic of photoshop. We'll see. Mom had a great birthday.
