I thank God that HE knows just how and when to send us a "check engine light" spiritually speaking. I had such a wonderful exp. this morn. in witnessing to someone else who has been asking me a lot of questions about Salvation and as I was sharing with them the Holy Spirit nudged me about something for myself.
I am so happy I belong to God and can receive instructions like that from Him. Everyday part of my prayer is "Lord lead me and guide me." That includes discipline and I am so thankful that He truly does.

I am so thankful that God is doing this in my life:

God made my life complete
When I placed all the pieces before him.
When I cleaned up my act,
He gave me a fresh start.
Indeed, I’ve kept alert to God’s ways;
I haven’t taken God for granted.
Every day I review the way he works,
I try not to miss a trick.

Today I want to thank Him for yesterday. Years ago I was in very good shape; a long distance runner. Disappointment led to overindulging which led to more disappointment...
Yesterday I started working out again. A membership to one of the best health and wellness workout teams was given to me, it is held at the company where I work.. there are even showers here.
I will run my third half-marathon as a result of this great start; as a result of this great gift.
Every mile I run is for His glory. I will get healthier, get back to my best weight and I thank Him for this and other very great gifts I've received.

dry places.....we learn so much when walking through those dry places...and esp. learn to appreciate the times of refreshing.
I also thank God for the wonderful smell of Apple pie as I walked in the house this afternoon. I thought about all we associate with home...and how certain smells and sights make it so inviting. I am so thankful we have another home waiting for us in heaven..and there will be so many wonderful friends there waiting for us...esp. JESUS.
