CAIR Furious over Robertson Giuliani Endorsement Wednesday, November 7, 2007 5:11 PM A prominent national Islamic civil rights and advocacy group Wednesday urged GOP presidential candidate Rudy Giuliani to reconsider his acceptance of the endorsement of a controversial televangelist known for scathing attacks on Muslims and Islam. In a news release on his campaign website, Giuliani is quoted as saying he is "encouraged" by the endorsement of Pat Robertson, chairman of the Christian Broadcasting Network (CBN). "His experience and advice will be a great asset to me and my campaign," said Giuliani..... In announcing his endorsement of Giuliani, Robertson referred to the "bloodlust of Islamic terrorists." http://www.newsmax.com/insidecover/robertson_giuliani/2007/11/07/47620.html quote:
Giuliani, Clinton lead presidential race Alan Fram - Associated Press Writer OneNewsNow.com November 8, 2007 WASHINGTON - Hillary Rodham Clinton has maintained a 2-to-1 lead over her nearest rival despite fallout over last week's Democratic presidential debate, an Associated Press-Ipsos poll showed Thursday. Among Republicans, Rudy Giuliani enjoyed a slight advantage over his closest competitor, according to the survey. Clinton, the New York senator, was ahead of Sen. Barack Obama of Illinois 45 percent to 22 percent, about the same as her margin last month. John Edwards had 12 percent http://www.onenewsnow.com/2007/11/giuliani_clinton_lead_presiden.php It looks like it'll be Hillary, Rudy & Nader running in 08'; I originally thought Mayor Mike would run as a 3rd party but I no longer get that feeling..he might just in my opinion run for NYS Gov. as super-lib Elliot Spitzer's decision to give away the store to illegals makes him vulnerable.TB Andy is probably more populat than Spit today. Once again the radical islamic crazies like CAIR are hating Guliani, they know if he's in the driver's seat at 1600 it'll be no cakewalk like if Hill or Obama was there...or God forbid Edwards who would make our needed war on terror a "bumpersticker" campaign. Did the Bible predict 9/11? Rabbi reveals evidence in book on written, oral Torah Posted: November 8, 2007 1:00 a.m. Eastern The Bible not only predicts the catastrophic terror attacks of Sept. 11, 2001, but does so with great specificity, including the number of buildings toppled and the exact date, according to a new book by a New York rabbi. In "Prophecies for the Era of Muslim Terror: A Torah Perspective on World Events," Rabbi Menachem Kohen reveals where and how Scriptures make this uncanny prediction. He also chronicles how the Bible predicted a severe 1,800-year drought in the land of Israel during the dispersion of the Jews from A.D. 70 until just before their return in the 20th century – a period with so little rain that no other people would be able to inhabit the country. "Tonight, a clear bipartisan majority of the Senate voted to confirm Judge Mukasey because he is one of the most qualified candidates ever nominated to the position of attorney general," Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell said. Clinton aides plant student's question By PATRICK CALDWELL The Iowa caucuses are known for their “living-room chats” where ordinary Iowans can meet candidates face-to-face and talk about what interests voters. When candidates have larger events or make major policy speeches, the crowds are bigger, but there is often still an opportunity for questions. But under the pressures of major media coverage, with polls narrowing in Iowa, campaigns can potentially control questions and coverage by planning questions ahead of time. While no campaigns admit to this practice, at a recent Hillary Clinton campaign event in Newton, Iowa, some of the questions posed to the New York Senator were planned in advance, planting some audience members in the crowd. On Tuesday Nov. 6, the Clinton campaign stopped at a biodiesel plant in Newton as part of a weeklong series of events to introduce her new energy plan. The event was clearly intended to be as much about the press as the Iowa voters in attendance, as a large press core helped fill the small venue. Reporters from many major national news outlets came to the small Iowa town, from such media giants as The New York Times, Los Angeles Times, the Associated Press, and CNN. http://web.grinnell.edu/sandb/questions.html IN OTHER HELL-ARY NO-NO NEWS: Clinton Campaign Confirms Planting Town Hall Question, Says It Won't Happen Again...[We Promise!] WHOOPPSS SHE DID IT AGAIN.... ....Only problem is...it's really no laughing matter Ms. Christian Clinton.

Teacher sex abuse cases reveal patterns By OSKAR GARCIA, Associated Press Writer Sun Nov 11, 6:32 AM ET LEXINGTON, Neb. - Back in August, the rumor around Lexington Middle School was that 25-year-old math teacher Kelsey Peterson had a boyfriend — a 13-year-old former student. People had complained to administrators three months earlier that Peterson spent too much time hanging out with the kids. When new complaints reached administrators linking her to the student in August, her principal gave her a verbal warning, but that was it. "We did not put an investigator on her and watch her," said district Superintendent Todd Chessmore, who has ordered all school and district employees to not speak with reporters. "We did not see this as something except for something we needed to deal with in a very informal manner." A couple of months later, after a confrontation with Chessmore, Peterson and the boy took off. Going missing for a week, they were eventually picked up by a Mexican police officer in Baja California. The boy said in an interview with The Associated Press later that he and the teacher had sex twice. She cried when they were parted. Veterans Day: Benediction Raymond S. Kraft My father was a medic in the U.S. Navy for four years during WWII, most of it in the Mediterranean theater, then on the way to the invasion of Japan in the summer of 1945, when the war abruptly ended. He was there for the invasions of Sicily and Italy, but he hardly spoke of them, only of the good times, dolphins leaping in the luminous wake aft of the fantail, stars slipping slowly by in a crystalline sky far above the dark Atlantic, the ride across Italy by train, sitting on the roof of a boxcar in the blazing sun. He didn't say much about the battles, the hundreds of wounded men streaming aboard the hospital ship where he was stationed, the triage, sorting out who could be patched up, who went straight to the surgeons, and who could only be given morphine to ease their dying. Let the sleeping dogs of painful memory lie. He's gone now, and the old soldiers of his time just fade away. This is for him, and for all of them. Remembering the Sacrifice Jonathan D. Strong In Canada, Great Britain, and in the rest of the Commonwealth, those who have fallen in battle are remembered on November 11th, commemorating the end of the Great War in 1918. The First World War is less well known in America than WWII since it entered the war late in 1917, three years after it had begun in Europe. Britain and its Commonwealth countries, along with France, Italy, and Russia battled the Germans and the Austro-Hungarian Empire for four years in conditions that had not been imaginable in previous wars. The horror of modern warfare became apparent and casualties mounted on a scale never before seen. What seems to have been forgotten, however, is not the sacrifice that was made, but that our soldiers (in Canada, Britain, America and elsewhere) fight for precisely the same causes and values that we fought for in the Great War. World War One saw the advent of horrifically effective new weapons. Long range artillery, poison gas, the airplane, the machine gun, trench warfare, and barbed wire changed the face of war. The tactics of warfare were far behind the effectiveness of the weapons being used. This resulted in massive casualties during poorly planned offensives. In one such battle on the western front, Canadian, British, French, and Australian soldiers attempted to push the entrenched Germans back from their lines. This was known as the Battle of Passchendale; the battle embodied the muddy trench warfare that so greatly increased the suffering of the common infantry soldier. At this horrible juncture, the British lost 300,000 men, including 36,000 Australians, 16,000 Canadians, and 3,000 New Zealanders. The Germans lost 260,000 men during the defense of their position. All this carnage occurred in the span of about one (1) month. War Foes Arrested at Veterans Day Event Monday, November 12, 2007 9:41 AM BOSTON -- Several anti-war veterans were arrested when they protested their exclusion from a Veterans Day event by refusing to move away from a podium. The Boston chapter of a group called Veterans for Peace estimated 15 of its members and supporters were arrested Sunday at the event sponsored by the American Legion. Boston Police said several arrests were made, but did not have an exact number. The detainees were later released on bail. "We're opposed to the U.S. invasion of Iraq; we're opposed to the planned invasion of Iran," said group member Winston Warfield, a Vietnam War veteran. Veterans Week 2007: We Sent Them to War, Why Can't We Send Them to College? In 1944, President Franklin Delano Roosevelt signed into law the "Servicemen's Readjustment Act," better known as the GI Bill. With that one signature, the President ensured that eight million combat veterans coming home from Germany and Japan would be able to afford an education. The World War Two GI Bill was the Cadillac of scholarships; it covered tuition, fees, and books, and gave veterans a living stipend while they were in school. And it was worth every penny. A 1988 Congressional study proved that every dollar spent under the original GI Bill added seven dollars to the national economy in terms of productivity, consumer spending and tax revenue. Before I served in Iraq, I worked on Wall Street. We used to talk about ROI - "return on investment." By any standard, the GI Bill was a good buy. But today, we are not investing in our troops like we did after World War Two. After contributing up to $1,800 from their first military paychecks, today's troops can receive about $45,000 towards their education. That covers only 60-70% of the average cost of four years at a public college or university, or less than two years at a typical private college. The process to get these limited benefits is complicated. Troops have to front the money to their college, and then get paid back by the government in monthly installments. No wonder only 8% of troops even use their whole GI Bill benefit.*** http://news.yahoo.com/s/huffpost/20071112/cm_huffpost/072189;_ylt=AgG1DwUaPmxLPXU6bujbxHSs0NUE ***YET NANCY PELOSI WANTS MORE COLLEGE BENEFITS FOR ILLEGALS (Felonious non-citizens!)---Support Our Brave!

Falling Flags November 12, 2007 9:05 AM ABC News' Eloise Harper and Rick Klein Report: It's been a rough stretch for Hillary Clinton -- a tough debate performance, a lost voice, and the revelation that the Clinton campaign had been coaching questioners at events. Then, on Sunday, everything started falling down around her. After a very Presidential-esque news conference - Clinton turned around to leave the reporters and their peppering questions. A staffer swooped open a curtain, and chaos ensued. Four large American flags came crashing in front of Senator Clinton as she headed for the door. In a controlled panic, the staffers and the Senator attempted to catch the flags before they fell to the ground. http://blogs.abcnews.com/politicalradar/2007/11/falling-flags.html quote:

Military Deaths Lower Now Than in 1980s By Fred Lucas CNSNews.com Staff Writer November 12, 2007 (CNSNews.com) - American soldiers died in higher numbers during some of the peace-time years in the 1980s than in recent years when the military has fought conflicts in both Iraq and Afghanistan, according to a government report on casualty rates. Further, the number of annual U.S. military deaths for the last three years is just slightly above the average annual death toll in the 1990s. At the same time, the war in Iraq has the lowest death-per-wound ratio of any war going back to World War I, according to the report from the Congressional Research Service (CRS), which studied military deaths in a historical context. http://www.cnsnews.com/ViewNation.asp?Page=/Nation/archive/200711/NAT20071112a.html White House blasts Democrats for delaying funding for veterans care A Nation Ignorant of Being at War CLOSING OUT VETERANS DAY...AGAIN W/ HEARTFELT THANKS TO OUR VETERANS & TROOPS..GOD BLESS THEM ALL!

Ron Paul's Nazi Supporters (Update for Paulbots) Rick Moran We have in the past documented the support of Congressman Ron Paul's presidential candidacy by fringe groups, including white supremecists and Nazis. We have continually called upon the Congressman to disavow these haters and return any monies received from them. Evidently, according to Daniel Siederaski of the Jewish Telegraph Agency who has been trying to get an interview with Paul, calling him repeatedly but not receiving any return calls, the Texas Congressman "...will take money from Nazis. But he won’t take telephone calls from Jews:" I had intended to write a story about the Congressman, and to provide him with the opportunity to distance himself from his extremist supporters, to clarify his position on Israel, and to state his case to the Jewish community. Yet, after three weeks of repeated telephone calls, two chats with his Deputy Communications Director, and several left voicemail messages, I have yet to receive a callback to schedule an interview. Which leads me to conclude the following about the Congressman from Texas: Ron Paul will take money from Nazis. But he won’t take telephone calls from Jews. ***LINK*** IN OTHER NEWS: Bhutto Says Musharraf Must Give Up Power Bomb kills 3 outside Philippine Congress Report: More than 6,000 [NY]city veterans left homeless Clarence Thomas: 'I don't hire women law clerks' PBS Telling Teachers to Violate First Amendment, Group Says Brownback urges halt to federal funding of abortions Huckabee offered 'no-cost' deal for Mexican Consulate Red, White and Blue America Exhibit A: Immigration Policy Democrats Downplay New Jersey Vote Against Stem Cell Research Funding Been saying something isn't right w/ that shrimp Ron Paul; bad enough he has a 9/11 conspirator on staff...but something isn't right. Governor Eliot Spitzer: “Steamroller” Becomes Scrap Metal Peter Gadiel New York Governor Eliot Spitzer has abandoned his attempt to give illegal aliens (and terrorists) the right to get any kind of driver’s licenses in his state. He first proposed to give illegal aliens drivers licenses that would be identical in every respect to those issued to citizens and legal visitors. That would have meant that people who violate American law on a continuing, moment-by-moment basis would get the same license given to those of us who obey the law. It would also have meant that illegals could vote, since under Federal Motor Voter Law (part of Bill Clinton’s “legacy”), the state would be required to give them a voter application at the time they applied for a license. The opposition to that plan was fierce and bipartisan. Twenty-nine of the 52 county clerks who are responsible for license issuance said they would refuse to enforce Spitzer’s edict and began preparing a lawsuit. (The State DMV handles the job in ten other counties.) These included Democrats – one of them recently appointed by Spitzer himself to replace the man who left that office to become the State’s DMV Commissioner and at least two Democrat members of New York's Congressional delegation. Former New York City Democrat Mayor Ed Koch issued a strong statement in opposition. Current New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg also opposed the scheme (and he, as a former Democrat, a former Republican and now an independent, must be the ultimate in multi-partisanship). Spitzer was elected with 70% of the vote only last year. So confident was he of his power as a result of that landslide, and so weak and disorganized was the remaining Republican opposition that he referred to himself as a “f-----g steamroller.” Well, a steamroller he may have been, but Spitzer himself planted a landmine in his path and turned himself into scrap metal. And in the process he managed to send some shrapnel into Hillary Clinton’s presidential campaign. Hamas: Hillary ticket to Palestinian victory Top terror group adviser: Clinton would end 'unlimited military, political support' for Israel Posted: November 15, 2007 1:00 a.m. Eastern Hamas believes Sen. Hillary Clinton, if elected president in 2008, will end President Bush's "unlimited military and diplomatic support for Israel" and adapt a more "evenhanded" approach toward the Palestinians, says the group's top political adviser. Speaking yesterday with WND Jerusalem bureau chief Aaron Klein, Ahmed Yousuf, the top aide to Ismail Haniyeh, the deposed prime minister and Hamas leader in Gaza, said in recorded comments the group heard from "many Americans" that if the Democrats take the White House next year they will implement "drastic changes" to U.S. foreign policy and relations with the Palestinians. Listen to Ahmed Yousuf:CLICK HERE "I do believe Miss Clinton will have a more balanced policy when it comes to how to solve the Arab-Israeli conflict," Yousuf told Klein. "And I don't think she is going to give to the Israelis this unlimited military and diplomatic support that they are actually enjoying now; so … the future politics in the region will [see] a very drastic change when it comes to how to handle the Palestinian question." There are other articles floating around w/ the same theme of terrorists rooting for Hell-ary & want Rudy dead; Castro says Hillary-Obama dream ticket, etc. Folks we are in deep trouble if either is foolishly elected.

Slanted Morning TV Helps 2008 Democrats A Pew Research Center poll released late last month found that while four out of five American adults (81%) could name one of the Democratic presidential candidates, far fewer (just 59%) could recall any of the GOP candidates. Even among self-described Republican voters, Pew found “Clinton and Obama are much more visible than Giuliani or any other GOP presidential candidate.” One reason may be that the big broadcast networks have treated the Democratic frontrunners like celebrities worthy of intense coverage, while the Republican candidates have received far less TV time. A new Media Research Center study of the ABC, CBS and NBC morning news shows has found that in the first 10 months of 2007, the networks spent more time covering the Democratic race and spent far more time interviewing the Democratic candidates than the Republicans. And those interviews were much friendlier to the Democrats, with the morning show anchors emphasizing a predominantly liberal agenda. These results echo those presented in MRC’s Special Report, “Rise and Shine on Democrats,” which examined how TV’s morning shows covered the presidential campaign from January 1 through July 31. For this new report, MRC analysts studied all 797 campaign stories that aired on NBC’s Today, ABC’s Good Morning America and CBS’s The Early Show from January 1 through October 31. Stop SPP' marches in 9 cities tomorrow New York, Chicago, L.A. among sites for protest of 'North American Union' Posted: November 16, 2007 1:00 a.m. Eastern Protest marches opposing the controversial Security and Prosperity Partnership of North America are scheduled tomorrow for nine cities across the nation. Opponents of the SPP will gather in Atlanta, Chicago; Houston; Las Vegas; Los Angeles; New York City; Sacramento; Clearwater, Fla.; and Yakima, Wash., to bring attention to a U.S. agreement with Mexico and Canada they charge is part of an incremental move toward an EU-style continental merger. President Bush first declared the establishment of the SPP at a summit meeting with Mexico's then-president, Vicente Fox, and Canada's then-prime minister, Paul Martin, in Waco, Texas, March 23, 2005. ***SEE STOP SPP***

Behar to Rain-Starved Georgians: Pray to Al Gore Not God The View's Joy Behar considers prayer a "distraction" from achieving scientific results which would be better achieved by praying for a fix for global warming. On the November 14 show, the co-hosts discussed Georgia Governor Sonny Purdue's prayer service for drought relief. Whoopi Goldberg, surprisingly defended the Governor, but Joy Behar fretted about the "separation of church and state," and hinted the Georgia residents should be praying to Al Gore instead: "Well, they need to be praying to people who will fix global warming and take care of the environment because that's more realistic." Co-host Sherri Shepherd asked Behar what she would say if indeed there is rain, which is in the forecast. Behar gave a dismissive response stating she "would consider that a coincidence. But that's me because I'm the way I am." Joy Behar continued her "distraction" line charging that prayer can distract us from advancements in the medical field. Shepherd and Whoopi responded that God provides to mankind this science for man to explore with Whoopi asking why we can't have both prayer and science. http://www.mediaresearch.org/cyberalerts/2007/cyb20071115.asp#4 Been telling you the kooks are turning junk science into a paganistic religion, complete w/ a GREEDY GURU-GORE. Arrest prompts call for release of Ramos, Compean Congressmen want probe of prosecutor after smuggler indicted for '2nd load' Posted: November 16, 2007 1:00 a.m. Eastern By Jerome R. Corsi © 2007 WorldNetDaily.com Two congressmen are calling for the immediate release of imprisoned Border Patrol agents Ignacio Ramos and Jose Compean and a complete investigation of their prosecutor after the arrest last night of the drug smuggler at the center of the case. Reps. Ted Poe, R-Texas, and Dana Rohrabacher, R-Calif., say that with the arrest of Osvaldo Aldrete-Davila, Congress and the attorney general should launch a full-scale review of U.S. Attorney Johnny Sutton's prosecution of the border agents. Sutton, said Rohrabacher in a statement, "is now confirming what members of Congress and the public already figured out about Osvaldo Davila. He's a rotten habitual drug smuggler who should have been the target of Sutton's prosecution, instead of Border Patrol agents Ramos and Compean." http://www.worldnetdaily.com/news/article.asp?ARTICLE_ID=58735 Basta! For Democrats, Iowa Still Up for Grabs By Anne E. Kornblut and Jon Cohen Washington Post Staff Writers Tuesday, November 20, 2007; A01 The top three Democratic presidential contenders remain locked in a close battle in Iowa, with Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton (N.Y.) seeing her advantages diminish on key issues, including the questions of experience and which candidate is best prepared to handle the war in Iraq, according to a new Washington Post-ABC News Poll. Sen. Barack Obama (Ill.) draws support from 30 percent of likely Democratic caucus-goers in Iowa, compared with 26 percent for Clinton and 22 percent for former senator John Edwards (N.C.). New Mexico Gov. Bill Richardson received 11 percent. The results are only marginally different from a Post-ABC poll in late July, but in a state likely to set the tone for the rest of the nominating process, there are significant signs of progress for Obama -- and harbingers of concern for Clinton. The factors that have made Clinton the clear national front-runner -- including her overwhelming leads on the issues of the Iraq war and health care, a widespread sense that she is the Democrats' most electable candidate, and her strong support among women -- do not appear to be translating on the ground in Iowa, where campaigning is already fierce and television ads have been running for months. http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2007/11/19/AR2007111900940_pf.html Hell-ary really tripped up in the debate re: drivers licenses for the illegal crowd (SEE DUI STORY BELOW)...and then having questioners planted in her royal audiences.Add on the Novak story & if Obama had another week he could maybe break out to a double digit lead.
