Hey Everybody. I just got off the phone with MissGizmo and I am posting this with her permission.
She is doing fine now. However she was not home from the hospital a day, I believe she said, when she had some other complications. Her gallbladder was causing some problems and there was a fluid build-up. THey thought she was having a heart attack. She was readmitted to the hospital where she remain for about 14 days and then transferred to a rehab center for therapy to help her build up her strength. She is scheduled to go home tomorrow. She said she appreciated all of the prayer on her behalf and she could feel the prayers being offered up. She hopes to be posting in a couple of days.

I do not understand this post at all. If you were her reporter why had we not had an update in a long, long time. Sam went to the trouble of tracking down the phone number of her son and then her number. He cared enough to go the extra mile to find out this information for us.
She did not call him, he called her.
And thanks to Sam, we did get an update that let us know how she was doing after such a long time of not knowing anything or hearing anything from her "reporter".
I guess that is all I have to say with the exception of so glad Ruth will be home tomorrow and that she is doing better.

The issue was your post that you seemed to be upset that Sam found out infomation that you could not find out. And if you had read a post I made after his where I thanked him for tracking down the info that he posted. And even though he said he had just gotten off the phone with her, why did you jump to the conclusion that she had called him. He did not say that either.
A simple thank you to Sam for doing this would have sufficed.
This is all I have to say on this subject. I will not respond to any further posts concerning this issue.

Sam, I think you did absolutely the right thing; both in how you located Ruth, and also in waiting for her permission to post anything. And additionally in what you actually posted.
And again, I will say thank you for doing so.
Please don't second-guess what you did.
You are a such blessing to me in how you care for people.
Ruth . . . come back soon. We have missed you.
