Pens are off for 4 straight days. Sometimes this NHL schedule doesn't make much sense to me.

Your pens looked good tonight against the Habs. Looks like Malkin is picking up the slack for no sid right now.

Canuck Update For U:

- Nice Reception for Nassy after he played his 1,000 game in Detroit on Thursday Night.
- Ohlund came back tonight against the Kings.

Game Update:
Tuesday against the Columbus Blue Jackets:
The Jackets went up two nothing but the canucks tied the game up but the Jackets won 3-2.

Thursday against the Detroit Red Wings:
The Wings went to a 2-0 lead but the Canucks tied the game but lost in a shootout

Tonight Against the Los Angeles Kings:
Kings took a 3-0 lead but the canucks scored a couple to make it interesting but the kings scored again. We scored again but it was to little to late and the kings won 4-3.

In regards to the NHL schedule making no sense, in the Oilers' tour of the SE conference, they will have played five games in a week.

Well, maybe the news of the Lightning's demise is premature. Holmqvist got back to back shutouts and they're looking like they've remembered how to play hockey. The big problem for them has been secondary scoring, and well, when Andre Roy has a 3 point game and winds up with the number 1 star of the night, that's pretty decent in the secondary scoring department. I was a wee bit disappointed that he didn't go for the Gordie Howe hat trick though...

Did anyone watch the super skills tonight?

I thought they were pretty cool to watch.

I thought Phanoff would do better in the hardest shot.

Awesome to see Kaber going 4 for 4 in the accressy competion

Best thing of the night wasn't a competition though. Scott Oak (An Announcer for CBC's Hockey Night In Canada) was interviewing a Anaheim player an Chris Pronger was trying to get in the shoot and he tripes and falls on the ice

Did anybody watch the All-Star game this afternoon?

Missed the first period cause I had to go to my GF's Dads Funeral but saw the second and third and thought it was a good game.

Well, my Bolts beat the Montreal Purse Snatchers.

You all did hear about the purse snatching incident, right? Moron got charged with a felony because the purse he stole had a $500 cell phone in it--theft over $500 is an automatic felony.

As Pens commentator Mike Lange would say "I'm smiling like a butcher's dog today."

No one can match our offensive potential right now. If Conklin keeps up the steady play between the pipes, you can book us for the Finals right now.

And, Brad Richard's 5 point game for Dallas tonight just proved how little offense the Lightning have. Five assists playing center on Dallas' 3rd line but nobody on the Bolts' second line could put a puck in the net when he'd do the same kinds of set ups.

Also proves how stupid the people were who were complaining about Richards and wanting him gone. He wasn't the problem, it was that the guys around him stink up the joint. And now he's gone from the Lightning but the guys who stunk it up are still there. At least I hope that the goalie we got in the trade turns out to be good and not another Marc Denis.

The sky is falling! The sky is falling! Just 2 periods into his Pens debut, and Hossa sprains his MCL. The guy only missing like 12 games in 10 years, and now will be out for at least a week.

Your 'Ning had me worried last night Ryn. It was very nice to see Crosby back in the lineup. He looked a bit rusty, but all in all, a good first game. Now we just need Hossa back, and then we can put the hammer down.

Back from my Crosswalk fast.

The last week of the season should prove interesting. The Canes host the Caps on Tuesday night and have a chance to place a tighter hold on the SE with a win.

Looking forward to seeing Friday's Duck-Sharks contest. I am sure they are going to be playing like if it's a playoff game. Go Teemu!

Guess this thread is popular again since we are getting closer and play off contending teams have very important games for the rest of the season....

Woooo Hoooo!!! Caps beat Carolina in shootout!!!
Ovie got goal #61! Maruk (held the caps record for 26 years!) called him today, I thought that was neat!
We're still 2 behind Boston, and 4 behind Carolina... but we're hanging in there!

I still think the one goal that went for review should not have been considered a goal..... but Toronto said it was so it was.

Just got back from the game. The Caps just seemed to want it more than the Canes.

For every game the Canes win, the Caps must win two. Got my playoff tickets yesterday. Hoping for a decent playoff run. Visa is also hoping for a decent run also.

The Bruins (3-4-3 in their last 10 games) have got to feel the Cap's breath on their necks. Although a Canadians-Bruins match-up in the play-offs would be like old times.

Yeah, don't think Caps will get the division over the Canes, but we're still hoping to at least make it to playoffs.... gotta keep up the hope!!!

If the Canes revert to the way they were playing earlier this season, there is a chance they could miss the playoffs. But right now, they are playing just good enough to win the SE.

Would love for the Caps, and, yes, the Kitty Kats to make they playoffs just to prove the Southeast division isn't the Southleast division.

Well the Kittty Kats would need ten lives to make the playoffs, Need to win out and hope a bunch of teams implode. Caps still very much in the division race or the quest for an eigth seed.

Just got back from watching the Canes put a 7-1 whipping on the Trashers. Two more wins and the Canes reclaim the SE division crown. Will not be easy. They play the Bolts tomorrow, the Caps on Tuesday, the Bolts again on Wednesday, and finish the season Saturday week at home against the Kitty Kats.

This Bertuzzi mess will never end...

Bertuzzi wants to take Marc Crawford with him. I say, lawd, he wants to blame everyone else for his mess, something that he was a willing participant.

I hope Moore sue the pants off of him..

The Canes met a hot goalie tonight and Cam after making some impossible saves let in a soft one. Set's up showdown in DC on Tuesday. Canes win in regulation and the division is theirs; if not???

Well, we tied um... the Caps and Canes that is - both have 90 and are tied for lead in the SE!

What a game... the crowd was really into it, the red out was really cool, all yelling MPV when Ovie scored...! It was a very exciting game to be at!

Still need to watch my tivo'd game to sort out all those penalties in the 3rd....

Now we look to see what can be done on Thurs and Saturday - our last regular season game.......
