POOF! Your dishwasher is now home. I don't know whether you are talking about an actual appliance or a person who washes the dishes but isn't home right now. But either way, your dishwasher is now home but refuses to ever wash another dish.
I wish I had not forgotten to bring anything to drink to work with me tonight. I miss my sparkling green tea and my Mountain Dew!

POOF! Now Obama and Congress seek your input on every decision they make, and will never go against you. That's great for the country, but it's horrible for you. They never give you a moment's peace, they're calling you at all hours of the day and night, and you don't know when the last time was you had a full, uninterrupted night's sleep. Oh, yeah. It was the night before you made this wish.
I wish my anniversary wasn't Sunday. Because of my work schedule, we can't celebrate it on Sunday and have to wait until Tuesday. I don't like having to wait and not celebrate it on the actual day.

Poof...wish granted. You may have your ONE night of really restful sleep, but the trade off is you get cr4ppy sleep for the rest of your life.
I wish that I don't end up eating all the cotton candy tomorrow when I'm in charge of the cotton candy machine during our church picnic.

I wish I could just say "poof" and I'd be ready to go out--instead of having to take a shower, do my hair/make up and pick out clothes.

POOF! Here he is, your own personal chauffeur. He charges $50 per half mile.
I wish my 14-year-old son was happier with himself and his life. We had a really good talk the other day and I was so thankful that he was willing and able to share his heart with me. But what he shared wasn't good.

Done. You inherit a million dollars. But because this is the United States, after you have to pay $500,00 dollars in taxes on it, and 567,104 charity organizations ask you to donate money and you comply, you are left with only $2.94. God bless America.

POOF! Your BIL is now perfectly healthy and your husband is home. But now he is sick (though not nearly as badly). And being sick makes him very, very grumpy and you have to deal with it.
I wish it was July 27. We're going on vacation that day.

POOF! Here are your sandals. They're just perfect for your party, beautiful and so comfortable they almost feel like you're either barefoot or walking on soft pillows. However, since it it 4:00 AM on June 21, they didn't come in time for the party, and you had to wear ugly, uncomfortable ones to the party.
I wish I could lose nine more pounds.
