POOF! You are at the concert. However, the artist that was supposed to be there couldn't make it and the organizers substituted one with no talent and horrible songs.
I wish I don't have to report for jury duty Monday.

Fine! You go to your concert but you get elbowed in the nose by a crazed fan and need corrective surgery. I wish I had a different nose!

POOF! There are seven hundred and three nice people on your doorstep. They are all very polite. But you don't have room for all of them in your house, and no one will leave because they're all afraid of hurting someone's feelings.

POOF! You think of something wonderfully fun to do. But it's illegal and you get arrested for doing it.
I wish the tuition for my kids' Christian high school was paid by some benefactor so I wouldn't have to pay it. But then, that's the reason I went back to work. If I didn't have to pay the tuition, I wouldn't have to work.

*Poof* God tells you what to do, but you don't want to do it. So, you end up back in the same boat as you were before.
I wish I could just say "Poof" and I would magically be ready to go out (showered, dressed, hair and make-up done.)
