ORIGINAL: Tinkerbell_ Hence why I quit going to nail parlours run by all Asians. I have no problem with them doing the work, I have a problem with them speaking their native tongue in the presence of those who don't. It is very uncomfortable and rude. Why? They're not talking to you. Is there some reason you feel you should be allowed to listen in on other people's conversations? Why and or how it is it appropriate to have a private conversation in front of a client? Never bothered me. Would it bother you if they had a private conversation in English? So, it really isn't that you don't like parlors run by Asians, you don't like parlors where the folks have private conversations in front of you. Therefore, if the lady was Asian but did not talk to her fellow stylists in front of you, you'd be ok with it?
