Well, the story says that they pled guilty and have given detailed descriptions of the event. Why would they do that if she was lying the whole time?

This thread is somewhere around 52 pages long, or something like that. Maybe I'm wrong, but is topic regarding racism geared to address racism, or the propensity for racist tendencies between the black "race" and, shall we say, the "white" race? It's hard for me to tell, not just because of the plethora of comments concerning this issue everywhere, but also because of the the generalities, semantics, etc. When you think about it, the word "racist" itself doesn't have to have some sort of denigrating connotation. If I thought that Japan should rule the world because of some intrinsic ethinc abilty of discipline and their general superiority, then that would be considered racist as well. Let me try and put it this way. If I'm guilty of racism, and I can't claim innocence in that regard, does that mean my racist attitudes are against or involve the "black" race? Is that what is inferred by this subject? It sure seems like it. If it walks like a duck, quacks like a duck, floats like a duck, and flys like a duck, then it's usually a duck.

Jesse Jackson Further explains the qualifications for being "black" quote:
Democratic Rep. Artur Davis is the the only African American in Congress representing Alabama, and he was the only member of the Congressional Black Caucus (CBC) to vote against the House Democratic health care bill earlier this month. And yesterday, civil rights leader Jesse Jackson apparently called him out for it. "You can't vote against health care and call yourself a black man," Jackson said
