Sorry, I don't even think Paris Hilton is pretty, so why have her in a movie?

Although I am a woman, so I guess maybe my eyes don't see it.

August Rush - Not what I expected. I liked Robin Williams in it and the boy. The music was great, but I like things to be cleaned up in the end. You really had to suspend reality a little too much for the movie.

I think the part with Julliard was just over the top. If they had left that out of the movie, then it would have been better.

Tonight is Rambo 20 or what ever number it is from Jan08.

Last movie we rented was 10,000 BC... a little disappointing...

Also watching the TV series "Jericho" on DVD right now... much more enjoyable!

College Road Trip!!!! Great family film. Raven Symone is a gem and probably Martin Lawrence's finest.

We rented "A Mighty Heart", the Marian & Daniel Pearl story. Good movie, even though you know it doesn't end well for him.

Eureka, season 1
The Office (UK), season 1
some silly '60s drug experience movie which I'd tell you the name to but we turned it off in the middle and I promptly forgot anything about it other that the Easy Rider guys were in it (hey, it was almost like a prequel )

the jane austen book club - 4/5. entertaining. fun. clever. admittedly, i'm a sucker for movies about books. great ensemble cast. the movie plays like a jane austen book. it's a movie about relationships.

It's one of my favorites, and part of a continuing list of movies my kids and I are watching together.

We now have the entire office on DVD thanks to my daughter. She's the one who got us started on it. Now she's got us started on Arrested Development.

My Mom's New Boyfriend - a few wild scenes, but overall good plot. I enjoyed it. I am a little tired of Meg Ryan always being the glamour girl w/ messed up hair & very little makeup. I'm tired of her getting away w/ that! I wasn't impressed w/ the fat girl getup. k

Be kind rewind - Not as bad as I thought.

Definately, maybe - I liked this movie, but it could have ended when he told his daughter that she was the happy ending. The rest seemed like an after thought.

Charlie Bartlett - Weird movie. I thought it was going to be some rip off of Ferris Bueller, which is was but worse. I liked it but I did not like all the drugs, and how easy he made it look to get drugs.

Under the same Moon - Not bad. Not great. It got slow in parts.

For the next two nights........

Goodbye Lenin - decent movie (in German with subtitles). A young man's mother goes into a coma just before the Berlin Wall falls. She wakes up months latrer, and he is told that her heart is weak, and any major shock could kill her. So, of course, the fall of the wall and of Communism in the USSR and East Germany would be a huge shock!

So he spends the movie trying to hide the truth.

For a Christian connection, consider that he had this wonderful truth he could have told her, but didn't because he was afraid of how she would "react".
