I am thankful that on days when my spiritual well feels a bit dry, I can come here
and agree in prayer with so many of my brothers and sisters in Christ. Their prayers
lift me up to Our Father and my spiritual well becomes full again.
I am thankful for the fellowship and the blessing that this forum has been in my life.

That my kids are safe and making good decisions in their lives.
That my mother-in-law, the nasty person that she is, lives far away.
That I am saved and can rely on God, even when I can't rely on others, He is faithful!

Today I feel thankful for the ministry that the Lord designates at times to our children. In VBS, we have one child in our group who is handicapped. I have not asked him what happened to him, but he seems to have some sort of palsy and cannot get around like the other children. Yet the other children in our group are so patient with him. We had a potato sack race last night and the little boy who was his partner and the team he was on didn't even complain that he was on their team though they knew they wouldn't win as he just cannot do what the others can, instead they were patient with him and cheered him on. I thank God for those children.

Today I'm thankful to God because:
My biopsy on a mole was benign!
Another test was good.
My left foot is not fractured; it has degenerative changes.
God is so EXCELLENT!

Oh Father I have to give thanks for this too. (thanks for sharing Cindy). Lord we always want to criticize our youth but there are so many that deserve to be uplifted and commended for their selflessness. Praise God.

Today, I am thankful------
My surgeon examined me. He also CANNOT LOCATE the tumor! The swelling is gone!
He said I was not "healed" of cancer, that I've had a remarkable response to just two chemo treatments. He said it is "very rare" for a patient to get such good results so soon! Praise God---he hears our prayers!
The doctor said the tumor is still there, and I will still need a full 6 months of chemo, followed by modified radical mastectomy on the right, and mastectomy on the left. He said I will also need radiation.
He was very happy for me.
I am elated! THANK YOU, everyone, for your prayers!
How I thank and praise our gentle, loving Jesus!

I am thankful it is Friday and tonight I'll be getting off the "Boomerang Express" which is the theme for our VBS, tomorrow I get to rest, YEAH! I love children - but am pooped after a week of over 100 of them getting more excited as the week went by.

you may not think this is big, but I had an answered prayer this morning when I got into the music school to practice. it's supposed to be locked, but one of the doors was open so I practiced. plus I got to go to a support group meeting and share.
My life is truly blessed. Oftentimes we look at what is wrong, but I have a lot of good going on and have to focus on what is good, right, pure, lovely, noble and praiseworthy.
Thank you Lord.
