It is amazing how that song keeps popping up lately and I had not heard it for years and NEVER heard it sung in a church until they sang it at our church on Father's day. It was one of my dad's favorite songs and I had just been wondering if he had ever come to know our Lord at the time our pastor requested this song be sung. Praise God

I thank God for my friend Sandia who rushed me home just now when they called to say that Rj was having a high fever. I thank God that he has put godly people in my life that keep encouraging me to focus on HIm and His goodness. God is a good God

Much to be thankful for today. Over 600 breakfasts served during homeless street ministry this morning and 20 people celebrated their "Independence Day" from the penalty of their sin by entrusting their souls to our sovereign Lord!

Thankful for that message from ladyfish of encouragement and love, I feel exactly the same way. When we sang that song, the last time we sang the chorus I sang it with all my heart because I believe every word of it, and I thank God for all he has done in my life. I am a miracle of mercy and grace. I also want to thank God my nursing home partner is well enough to go with me tonight, I thank God for answering prayer on her behalf.

Amen and amen and I sincerely am thankful that I feel rotten today because I made an appointment with the dr. today and now I will be able to describe exactly what I feel. Had it been a good day for me I would have probably dismissed it.

Today I'm thankful that I made it through yesterday's speech to our new residents at work. The sky really grew dark when it was time for me to go over to to the hospital where I was supposed to go, and I prayed that God would hold back the rain until I got over there. One of my coworkers told me that I hadn't been gone but just a bit and she heard it come a downpour and wondered if she should go and try to get me, but it did not rain on me. All that I needed to say came out OK and even though it was in that staunch proper place I felt like I was talking to just some friends around a big table. Then when I started to come back, it was once again looking really bad like it would rain, but it did not rain until I was back safely in the building. God did all that. This should be the last year I do this as my job is going to be obsolete because of technology, but I'm thankful that God is still right there and he will take care of me when that time comes. You know he really cares about us, if we just could see so many times that he does these things just because he loves us and wants to protect us. I am also thankful for Prayn4u, she prayed about this with me. I am thankful that yesterday something in my daughter's situation encouraged her, it was just a small thing, but it was an encouragement to her. I am thankful for that.

Father,
I am so thankful for my large extended family and our time together over the weekend.
Even though we are now without our mothers and other family members who were with us last year,
and even though when we held hands and prayed, we cried, our spirits and hearts were so uplifted
by Your presence among us.
I am so thankful for the new little ones who have joined our family even as our elders have gone
to be with You.
I thank You for all of the blessings You have given my family.
I also thank You for my sisters and brothers in Christ here on this forum.
I thank You and praise You in Jesus' name,
