I was thankful to be in the hospital when I was sick after chemo.
And now that I'm discharged, I'm thankful to be home.

I'm thankful that my daughter has seemed happier the past few days.

I am so thankful God sends people to us to help us through difficult times and sends us to people we can help. He knows just who should be where. Even when I was young I was always so thrilled to see how good came from bad. Our times through the fire work out to be experience we can share with others. Other have made my heart soar with their understanding and kind words. Thankyou Lord.

I am thankful my a/c is still running in this 100+ heat and 80% humidity.
I am thankful for my family including all of those extended family members
I am thankful that when I am here I can pray, when I am away I can pray,
and when I can't pray, the Holy Spirit will do it for me.
I am thankful for this new day to serve the Lord.

For ongoing relief from decades of the stress of pushing and driving myself through the haze of sleep depravation to fulfill responsibilities. Thankful for relief from such and for rest.

Thankful that once this rain lets up a bit, my mom is getting a new roof. I'm also thankful that I still have my mom around just one street over from me, I could walk the distance if I had to.

I am thankful that the Lord helped me find an important document I needed for my insurance.

Thankful that last night when my daughter and I took a walk, God sent a rain shower right at the time we were walking under a tin awning that just so happened to have a bench, so there we sat last night, no TV, no phone, nothing but her and I visiting until the rain let up and we could walk home. She told me she had read a question in her daily devotion asking if it made us feel comfortable or uncomfortable knowing that God is in control of our lives. That was what we talked about while we sat there. I'm thankful God gives us those special moments and that he is in control of our lives.

For God's supernatural intervention in my life.
For my best friend's visit tomorrow---we've been best friends since junior high.
For my miniature rose bush plants, which arrived in excellent condition yesterday.
PS---what is rain????? LOL.
