Fluff....congrats on finding the rings you like!

I think I'm finally recovered from the crazy weekend. It is strange....I am really looking forward to the marriage, but not so much to the wedding. Hopefully when the day comes, I won't be too stressed or crazy so maybe I'll be able to enjoy it.

And if you are, you'll have someone right there to help remind you of how you've gotten to this day.

Fluff, how many people in your wedding party? Do you think you could get them with you and your hubby to do a dance number or a skit of some sort? That would be fun! Or pretend and be actors. You, your hubby and the wedding party (maybe even a few family members) can all pretend to be disfunctional. Yell at each other at times and surprise others. Then at the end tell everyone that it was just a joke

no pretending I already have some what disfunctional family but more then likely want come, well I thought about your scavenger hunt idea but I would have counted it as game lol anyways that might be possible lol

I guess sometimes I do think alot about things and could make them simple but I want have any sort of acholic bev at my wedding... my disfunictional family doesnt need that lol and I
would like to do a dinner because that would take some time... but if we end up having alot come to wedding we were thinking just snacks and such and thats why I was like what else to do... I guess could dance but I dont know just thinking about different things to do

Well I just finished typing up a rough draft of the wedding day .It's primarily for our day of coordinator. Very simple indeed.

I'm just thinking what you could do if your family is dysfunctional fluff. Hmm. With that do you think they will be real quiet or talkative? And how's the honeymoon planning going? Decided on a place yet? It would sooo cool if ya came here.

Receptions really are a time of spending time and celebrating with your friends and family. Does your family have any traditions or such that you could encorporate into the reception?

Here is another thing to remember.....you are never going to please or entertain everyone. My philosophy is this.....provide a place and time that is conducive to spending time and celebrating your brand new marriage. You do not have to have each and every minute of the reception planned.

Yeah what she said!

I was just watching that new show on the Food Network called Road Tasted with the Neelys. I so have to try this caramel chocolate they showed. It's called firecraker chocolate and it has pop rocks in it! Those would be cool with the tea favors!

Well I will leave it all in Gods hands and I believe everything will be alright ^_^

well I kind narrowed down places some because money reasons but I guess it will be between Hawii and Mountians since it will be near winter time but I am thinking Hawii lol

The only wedding family tradition I heard of was is very old and no one uses it today it was more old'n day thing but they would kidnap the groom right after they got married so they couldnt spend the wedding night togther which I thought geez :/

I havent really been to any family weddings though... not all my family is close.

Thanks for all advice though Sharon and Trish I pray that things are going well for both of you.

Ok so I'm making someone else do my slide show. lol. As much as I want to do it cause I can be in creative control, it's nice that I wouldn't have to. I wouldn't get charged too much too. I went over some old pics. I was cute!

I went to Macys today to look at lingerie. I blushed. I ended up buying two cutsie pajama shorts. lolol! I am not sure if FH is a lingerie kind of guy actually. Hmm.

LOL Trish!

I ended up buying a couple of babydoll type things. One is much more see-through then the other. At my shower, I got a nightgown and robe that I plan to wear on the wedding night. it is long and white and VERY see-through as well.

I bought my two babydolls from jc penny online. I got them on clearance and got GERAT deals! Maybe you can try that if you are not comfortable buying or looking at the more revealing stuff at the store.

Nah I'll be fine. lol I'll get over the fact that they are see through. Ha. I kinda like the partial see through ones. Makes things more mysterious don't you think?

Hi reach!

Fluff, things are going well. Getting busier. I designed and ordered my custom frame for our sketch yesterday. Tomorrow I am going to try to get to the restaurant to look at the place after the renovations and also pick out our menu. FH moves in the new place this Friday so we are trying to set up for a small truck to transport a few pieces of furniture.

The new room in the restaurant has gone from a screen to a large tv! This means we don't have to have a projector and just connect the laptop to the tv! Yay! That plus they opened up the whole room for us with no charge! We are going past 50 and needed to extend.

FH and I went to a wedding last night. He was so cute! He smiled big time cause he was thinking about out wedding.

Trish- are you going have people sign the frame? That is nice your going to use a tv and that they open-ed room up for no extra charge.

me and my sweetie helped with a wedding once with his dad and my fh did the cameras and recorded every thing and I did the sound. (it made us both smile to know it will be us standing there someday)

Yup. We have a 4 inch mat going on it so people will get to sign on it at the ceremony and then see it all displayed at the reception.

John wasn't able to go to a one year old birthday party last night. I wonder how he would have reacted that that one. lol!

Wow Trish...Can you belive that in just a month plus 2 days....we will BOTH be married women?

Wow Wow Wow!!!!!!!!

I'm sooooooooo excited....and a bit nervous too. Lots of little details are being attended to now....and they seem to be the things that are the most annoying. The big things were easy!

Woo Hoo!

So we decided not to have the matted sketch signed. It looks so good as is right now that a bunch of signatures around it would ruin the whole look of it. So gotta find me a good guest book. We are going to display the framed sketch as is. It came out VERY nice!

Tomorrow a co-worker is helping me move a few pieces of furniture to the new place. I need to make several important calls to vendors as well and try to do some laundry so I can pack up some clothes.

To those who recently got married...anyone out there? How are things going with you? It would be great for those who already got married to share some newlywed experiences. Any more pics we can look at?
