Have you been home from your honeymoon long enough for him to be back at work?[:)][:)]

My husband likes when I suggest sex right when he gets home from work, even before he showers. He says it lets him know just how much I desire him. [:)]

Yeah, we've both been back at work for 2 weeks now. I think the first day he went back to work it totally shocked him, he said he never guessed that would be something he got to come home to. [:D]

He likes it when I make sure that we have a backup of some grocery items so that when he thinks we have run out there is another item in the cupboard.

He says that I make love to him, LOL seriously!!!

At first I said, "What do I do that you appreciate?" as he's sitting next to me here in the sala(living room) watching tv. He replied sweetly, "You made me dinner tonight and I appreciated that. You made love to me last night and rubbed my shoulders." Then he wanted to know why so I told him about the thread and he smiled and said, "That you make love to me." LOL

Collie, I'm sorry for your loss but am so glad you're such a wonderful widow. How long were you married?

Thank you funny_girl,
We were married almost 21 years. I'm afraid I haven't been a wonderful widow. I remarried 4 years ago, then divorced him 2 years ago.
It makes me feel really good that this thread has encouraged some people. It reminds me of good times.

I think that my husband appreciates that there is dinner waiting for him when he comes home, and when I scratch his back without being asked, and lately, when I help take care of his mother who has Alzheimer's

I support his goals and dreams. I started a business in 1999. Several years ago I was tired of it and I wanted to sell it or just get out. My husband took it over and has done pretty well with it. It has meant some budget cutbacks for us to have him leave a full time job to run the business but I admire his efforts to make it all work so I support him anyway I can since I know it is important to him to own our own business.

My husband is not home every night for dinner. Some night he works until 11 pm. On the days he is home I try to make sure I cook his favorite foods.
He loves how I set up the coffee pot and fix his lunch the night before for him when he had the early shift and has to leave at 4:30 in the morning.
He loves how I do his laundry.

He really loves it when I come and cuddle with him. His love language is cuddling I do believe.
