I know a couple in their thirties who just got married. I don't think of them as necissarily old but definitaly pushing it!

If I have to get married, I would WANT to wait until I was 30!! I think its a smart thing to do, unless you wanna have a million kids...

hey i never said it wouldn't be a big deal for me. its not a big deal for her because i don't think she really cares if she gets married or not. it would totally be a big deal for me though, because i want to be married before i'm her age. it just isint for her.

i wanna get married young. i am not sayin i don't wanna experience datin but i want to because....well thats just how i've always pictured it. i want to get married idealy at 22 maybe...or 21

I've missed some of the conversation in this thread but there was a post on the second page about financial security & divorce rates. It's true that money is a huge sore point for a lot of couples. It's one of the reasons I haven't moved out of home. I'm saving up for my wedding (or perhaps a new car first) but I know that Jesse is saving for a house (his dad is a financial planner/adviser)
Moving out of home before you get married depends on your own circumstances. I feel like I want to move out of home and be more independant, but I don't think I'd be able to handle not being able to save so much money by staying at home...(if that makes sense)
And just becuase you're married doesn't mean you're going to start having kids right away. Build your marriage first and stabalise your life before bringing in something else.

Oh yes... Actually, considering my track record with children... it would probably be best not to have any until I am more mature... in forty years.
