Has anyone talked to Room2Grow? I remember her posting that her daughter was having some health issues and that the doctors had suggested some medical tests. I hope everything is ok with her.

Grrr.... I hate getting the "you can't post two consecutive messages in this short of time" (or whatever it says) error message. I lost my second PM...shoot. Yeah, yeah, I do see WHY they have to limit how often you can post, it's just I'm bugged with me -- and that error message. Suffice to say, RYANNE, I got your PM and will pass on your helpful information about laptop cord replacing to my husband. Thanks! Also, the baby is fine. I had my 6 week check today -- all's well and healed up perfectly! Yay! My doctor was thanking me for letting her care for me during the pregnancy, and she even hugged me. She was just such an excellent doctor for me. And Adam was charming EVERYBODY there. Wide awake and not making a peep. It was fun to show him off to all the staff, and I have to say it was really cool how genuinely HAPPY the staff people who cared for me during those doctor's visits were for me. It's not like they HAVE to care, and we all know medical people who seem to not care about what they do, but this staff was excellent and for that I am very grateful. (Our hospital staff were excellent, too, even down to the woman who constantly was asking if I wanted more food.) Jeanie

I need to ask a quick ?. Levi has a high fever and his dr. told me to alternate tylenol and motrin. However, the motrin bottle says "6 month and up" and Levi is only 4 months. Is it ok?

Is it ok? yes it's ok...esp if he has a high fever....alternate them every few hours. Also don't let it get out of his system until the fever is gone....and remember that high fever spikes (or rather fast fever spikes) can cause a seizure....so keep an eye on him if his fever is spiking fast or high

Yes, it's okay if your doctor recommends it. As with most meds, it goes by weight, not age, so the 6 month marker will not work for all babies.

Is it ok? Personally, I'd *also* be giving lukewarm baths as well for a fever (did this even at night with my ds).

I'm almost afraid to post this... worried I might jinx it or something... but it looks like Kenna's dropping her 1am wakeup! The last couple of nights she's woken at 10pm then slept until 4am then back to sleep until her brothers wake up at 6am. Woo Hoo! I know that her waking now is just habit (she'll be one on May 10) but I just haven't had the energy to break her of it since she's in Will's and my room. Looks like she's going to break herself of it! And Luke had a full development assesment yesterday and he scored in the normal range for everything... even expressive speech! I'm so proud of my little cutie! --Kat

ORIGINAL: JoyfulLady Ladies, I'm losing my mind. Throughout the day, I will look at Levi, wherever he is, and make a silly noise or face to get him to laugh. Today, I caught myself twice making those noises/faces at the DOG. What may be even worse is what I did last night. One of the ways I say "hi" to Levi is to say "boo!" to get him to giggle. Well, last night as I crawled into bed I said "boo!" to my husband. (hey, can I blame the fact that I was half asleep??) I'm not going to publically admit how many times I've done the same/similar!!! But dh does it too (or at least, the bedtime conversations ... he is usually half asleep and seems to think I'm our 2 year old, and keeps telling me to go back to my own bed!)
