we've kept it in the fridge for about a month...it gets used up by then..so it may actually keep longer......you just have to be sure to warm it up before using it...the butter in it sets up...so I just put it in a pan of water and warm it up on the stove top (you could also warm it in the microwave).

I heard the strangest pronounciation of the word "vineyard" the other day and it came from a Brit. Do y'all really say "vine yard" like it's two separate words?

Last night on the BBC news, the Brit reporter discussed medical marijauna, which he pronounced Marie-juana. I don't think that is the standard Brit pronunication thought. It put me in mind of a little Hispanic girl, "Come on over here and get your face washed, Marie Juana." LOL

(seriously, the word cannabis is used more widely) Marijuana tends to be pronounced marrihwana/marrawana.

A lot of people over here wouldn't know what you're talking about......... probably cause they've smoked too much of it.

Actually....the only people over here who call it cannabis are those pushing to get it totally legalized and as available as cigarettes...they are hoping that the rest of us won't know the Latin name...and will only know the Spanish name. Others wanting it legalized merely call it hemp....because it is part of the hemp family (but not the type of hemp generally used in clothing or rope).

We also called it pot and Mary Jane. There were probably other names that I don't recall. I also recall the phrase, "Don't Boggart that joint," to mean "quit hogging it and pass it around." And the word "toke," to mean "take a drag off a lit joint." I've also heard that today's marijuana is considerably stronger in THC than in the 1960s'

I was warned by my older brothers and sisters in the 70's and '80's that if I ever smoked it...they would personally kill me. I took them at their word.........

Suprised that Twitter didn't crash over it. He came across as being incredibly stupid though with his denials and u-turns about what he's thought about.
