Anyone care to give me a one sentence summary??
Eating pizza is a sin.

LOL. Duh, Why?
An explanation would require more than one sentence.

Because it's an enjoyment; and enjoyments are sin.

That is a very nice lap desk. But did you see this one?

I just saw that today, Pam. And I'm conflicted. I really like them both and I don't know which I'd like better (not that it really matters at this point).

Isn't it fun spending money we don't have? SharMar preferred the other one, I prefer this one. If I had the choice, I'd like this one, because then it would be sort of suspended and my legs would be free underneath it. It's such a personal preference.

Gee now, aren't you glad you don't have to make up your mind?

You don't have the hips that I do, Pam . . . those legs would never "fit" my body.

Which one do you think would go best with THIS?
Look at the cup holder!!!!!
And it heats and massages!
Get the legless one to go with that. Ooooh how cool . . . but then again, those arm rests would not "fit" me neither. LOL

I'm very well endowed in the hip area.

Yes and Yes!

I like the legs on this one but I like the inside storage in the other one (for what, I don't know). I imagine myself keeping my dry hi-lighters in there and marking up my books whilst reading in bed.

LOL. Duh, Why?

I think because anything enjoyable seems to be sin.

At least according to some attitudes encountered some places.

Then hanging out with ya'll could be considered a sin too.

Nah!

Hey Terri!

That's a very interesting idea, Sharon-Marie. I must admit, I never would have thought of it. But, now that you did......DO IT, Nadine!

I have the book weight and I love it, but I bought it so the pages of my Bible would not blow from the ceiling fan above my kitchen table.

I have the book bungee and I like it but I have bent the corners of paperbacks putting it on. It is very tight. I went back to my usual bookmark, receipts. I also read at least 3 books at a time so I would need three of them if I really liked it.

I find it very odd that I've never seen book weights like that anywhere else, even in Borders or Barnes & Noble. As I said above, I've been using those music clips I got from Bob Siemon Designs, and they work very well, especially because I can actually put them in the book. But I still might think about getting one of those book weights, to keep at home.

I have never seen them anywhere else either. I would like another one to keep in the car for reading outside.

Well tricks are all fine and good; but perhaps you should first learn that you're a feline and not a canine.

I guess I'd better go change into my Sam Suit now. In case he's checks in before I do in the morning.

But now I thought that it would be more of a woman's kind of thread instead.

Now I do have a real "is it a sin?" thread as well that I have been wondering about. Is anything that is mood altering inherently sinful?

Seriously, Mike. You don't want to know what some folks are gonna say.

If it weren't for (legal) mood altering things, I'd be a very cranky lion.

That was the best thread ever!!!

That's where I met Kerrlaw and landabee and elastic and a whole bunch of other very good and dear friends.

I think I met Cranky and Phosy there, too. Which is odd since Phosy doesn't drink coffee.
