I had written about my bedridden parents’ miraculous cures and their conversion. But my M.D. doctor sister and brother in law opined that type of cure may automatically happen in some cases. They can’t see the truth when it goes against the prestige of their medical profession. Doctors had taken the place of gods now. In this connection I must state that I am also practicing medicine in a large poor area for the last 35 years. It is not for a living but for evangelization. I may have treated more than a million by now. Those who can’t afford to buy treatment come to us. The doctors may call me a quack but I follow Jesus. Now my pace has slackened but others in our charitable society have taken it up. That ministration has opened my mind to the numerous miraculous cures by Christ. I am also practicing healing prayers. Recently my 90 year old uncle was given up by professional doctors as he was in a coma due to kidney failure. They advised to stop all 10 medicines and let him die in peace. So his daughter stopped all medicines and called me frantically. She has heard the miraculous cure of my parents. I loved this affectionate uncle most as he was my best patron. I was distressed as I knew that he would be lost eternally being an atheist communist. I prayed that God give him time to come to faith. So I requested my friends to pray for him and I also prayed over him going there. Immediately he began to improve without medicines. He regained speech and sat up in two days. He confesses now of praying but I fear it will take time for full conversion. Please pray for him. Now these old people are the least. Whoever cares for them cares for Christ.

Father, We see things everyday that remind us that there is Someone in charge of the universe and of life. You know that we are not the labels we put on each other, that we are each much more than meets the eye. You, Father, have this marvelous ability to use even that which we see as not suitable, positively destructive, to bring about changes that we could never have imagined in all our years. Bless those who work in the medical arts, whether they believe or not. Bless those who receive attention from the medical arts whether they believe or not. Bless those in the medical arts that do believe and those that are treated who also believe. Bless us all, who for this reason or that choose that our faith be other than what it is expected to be. In your own way call your sheep together, and help us who watch the spectacle, and are sometimes torn apart by it, to let go and let God. Pour out your love on all for we ned it. For your name's sake, Amen!

Father, thank You that You are the God of miracles - the same today, yesterday and forever. Forgive us Lord for our arrogance in thinking that now that we have learned a tiny bit about the body, we don't need miracles. Lord we thank You for the miraculous healings this doctor has witnessed, and we thank You for their thankfulness in believing Your power is still infinitely greater. We lift to You the unbelievers on their heart, and pray for an encounter with You - one that leads to their salvation. We pray too for medically trained people all over the world - for humility and surrender to You, that they may not only practise medicine, but trust in You for healing. We ask in Jesus Name. amen.

Dear brothers and sisters in Christ, Thank you for your prayers as uncle has steadily improved and now almost cured. Now, it is about 30 days after doctors gave up and all the medicines were stopped. He now confesses that Christ has cured him. His stubborn atheism has now mellowed but not cured. It will take time. It is very easy for Christ to heal body, but spiritual healing is much difficult. It requires own eagerness to be healed spiritually. Alas! I have seen many healed by Christ, refused to cling to him for ultimate spiritual healing. It happened in Christ’s time also in the leper episode. In them all healing were useless I am very much encouraged by your kind response. Please pray that we may persevere in praying for him.
