Yeah, I figure he kept Jen around for the drama. Bobby doesn't give off enough of it. I'm really not at all pleased w/ who's left. I still think it will be a Christina/Corey finale. Christina has surprised me & the emphasis has been hugely on her being a culinary student. In the end, it's all about who can dish it out & take it from Chef. She & Corey prove they can handle it. Petrozza has really bounced back in that department too, but Chef is going to grow weary of his messiness, but I think this has been a good experience for him. Jen needs some psychiatric help quick! Wasn't JP a sight for sore eyes w/ those Hawaiian Tropic models? And what was that "Belgian" remark about w/ him & Chef at the glass door. I didn't get it & didn't get why they repeated it? kd

Jen should have left before Bobby. Jen may be a decent chef but she has an attitude problem. Bobby was a semi-decent chef but he also was a hard worker (had a good attitude) and was a team player as time went on. I see him kinda the same way as Petrozza, both are hard workers and willing to work with others.

Finally Jen is gone. I've been wanting to see her kicked off the show for some time. She was too annoying. Just not sure which of the three remaining I want to win. None of the remaining three seems to be all that great. I was sorta hoping for Bobby, but since he was kicked off on the previous episode....

Looks like next week Christina does something pretty bad. Seems Petrozza would be just fine if he wasn't so messy. He seems to be handling the stress better now than in the beginning. It seems what matters most is the final assignment. It is still anybody's game when it gets to that point. Chef may already have someone in mind & we just don't have a clue. In the end, have we ever been really impressed w/ any of the past winners? I don't think the casting has been all that great. There hasn't been anyone that would be really wonderful for the job. It seems so geared to the drama aspect that to throw in someone really good, they couldn't put up w/ the antics of the show. It does seem though once they go to work, they do okay. But, who would ever know considering the very short segments we see of past winners! kd

Last year, I was rooting for Rock the whole time. But, yeah I can kinda see what you mean about keeping the drama on the show, Wareagle. Matty was SUCH a whiner, and really not that great, yet he kept making it through, even over Luross. But, he was dramatic, so they kept him for ratings...Ugh, so stupid. So, have any of you ever made a beef Wellington? I imagine it must be difficult because almost no one on the show seems to be able to get it right. LOL!

It seems we hear about the same 2 or 3 items every service. I'm so tired of seeing risotta that I don't think I ever want to try it! kd

Beef Wellington, which I'd heard of, but never seen prepared before watching this show (learned something new - woo-hoo!), does look like it would be difficult in making especially with putting the dough around it and all. And I don't know about trying the risotto rice dish, for it looks like just soupy rice to me. I prefer my rice a bit more on the drier side. Also what I think gets tired out is scallops, while they can be delicious, it is almost always the appetizer on every cooking competition. Watch Top Chef, and that's what they make. Anyhoodle, I am also glad to see Jen gone. She seemed to be a good and capable cook, but the attitude and glee when someone else made mistakes was getting too much to take. Made me wonder how would she be running the restaurant had she won. Last year, Rock was quite deserving in his win. This year, the pickings seem slim. I still hoping for Petrozza, with his sloppy self, to come through though.

Uh oh, I just had a dreadful thought. Someone is stuck w/ Jen in the final. Who will be the unfortunate soul? kd

Yeah, when she was calling Luross a punk when he messed up on the challenge, and just digging at him like she was, man I wanted to punch my TV. LOL!

We don't go to fancy restaurant and I thought it's funny that risotto and scallops are appetizers-- and I look at them as main dishes. Anyway, I thought it was kinda odd with that whole reward thing. Christina shopping with Chef and just doing the one on one thing. I think someone did that before but it was a kitchen store and there was nothing wrong with that. The clothing thing and trying out the clothes in front of Chef...just weird. In the real world...this is a hiring process and Chef is the future boss.

I've tried to watch this show and I can honestly say that I'm surprised that no one has whacked Ransay upside the head with a skillet or thrown a meat cleaver at him. I would never tolerate anyone cursing at and insulting me like that. Matt could have tried to make a mole' sauce with the white chocolate and seasoned the veggies with cumin, cilantro, red pepper, a pinch of cinnamon, minced onion and garlic, dash of lime juice, and salt. Tossing the veggies with olive oil and said seasonings then lightly sautee'ing them topreserve crispness, then serving the mole' on the side might have made for an interesting side dish. I make my mole'with regular coco powder, tho, so I'm not sure white chocloate would even be feasible for such a sauce to be used with vegetables.

I'm hoping Petrozza ends up winning. Only due to personality reasons, he seems to be the least sneaky/backstabbing of the three left.

Yaaaaa! It's Christina and Petrozza left! I will be happy with either of them winning honestly, but I still hope it's Petrozza!

I'm happy with the final 2 also. 'have a feeling Cristina might win since she've won most of the individual challenges but either way, it's fine with me. Corey...I almost forgot how obnixous she was early on the season. She has calmed down a lot. I think Cristina and Corey will be friends after this show.

It's amazing to see how far Petrozza has come since the beginning. Remember how he almost quit? But, he stuck to it & his confidence really grew. As far as Christina winning challenges, remember Petrozza was always REALLY close. So, it's anyone's game to win. I still wonder who is going to get stuck w/ Jen next week. You can tell she is planning sabatoge! kd

Yup...you can tell Jen's face is just full of anger just by the preview. The funny thing about these shows (reality)-- most of them don't realize that their true colors shows up on the screen and potential future employers will be seeing this. Like Jen-- 'wonder who would hire her in the future with her 'it's my way and only my way' attitude?

I also found out who the winner is. I was just wondering since Chef's restaurant opened earlier this month and from what I understand is that Chef Ramsay is the Chef and the winner will be the sous chef. One thing I say is that I'm just thankful it's not Jen.

For real. Even though we know the winner, I still can't wait to see what Jen tries to stir up. kd

Can't wait for the finale!!! I thought for sure it would be Corey and Christina, but I'm glad its another battle of the sexes. Petrozza has definitely stayed in the battle. I thought he'd have been gone a long time ago. He's dirty, but he cooks up some mean dishes.
