ORIGINAL: tracydolls Adelphi-sky, I don't like Hillary. She lies too much for me. And got to steal it to get it. Believe me I know, my father went thru alot to get the right to vote. But that is just it. The right to or not to. BO if gets it, will probaly be one of the best presidents this country has seen especially in the economic arena. That;s easy, tax the mess out of the rich. Make them pay their fair share. They have become so BLOATED. I know abortions are going on, they went on under all of them. I don't expect him to change it, he can't it's gotta be the Supreme Court. When you are truly free, FREE, you don't see color, you see souls. Are you free? I believe my freedom entails seeing souls as well as what makes us all different and unique while being equal in God's eyes. What makes this country great is the many different cultures that form one super-culture. I would be blind if I didn't notice or care to notice what makes us all special as a country, part of a certain culture/race, and single individuals. I embrace the blessed opportunity to be part of such a great country where people can express themselves through their culture or individually. I recognize both types of expression. To me, that's being free.

To me, that's being free. I am a slave only to Jesus. One super culture?? America is great now?? OK Yes. There are subcultures. For example; Latino, West Indian, Native American, African American. Yet, as a whole, they make up the American Culture. For example; dress, the music we listen to, the shows and movies we promote, cheese burgers and pizza delivery. Etc. That's the super-culture. Europe is a super-culture made of of many subcultures, or countries really. There's Italy, France, Britain, etc. And I do think America is great. My father just came from South Africa this month. And you hear it from a number of people that travel abroad. America may not be at her best, but she is still better than most. Look at what's going on in China. OUr worse problem is our own arrogance. Even about our own economy. Yes, we've "fallen" far from our Christian value. But you have to realize what immigration has done. It's only natural the more you dilute, the less potent the original ingredients will be. AS people from all walks of life continue to flock here, chances are they will not bring with them strong protestant Christian values.

What Christian value did America fall from? That's what most of the Europeans in U.S are complaining about--the subcultures.

Countries will rise and fall. As far as falling from our previous held values, I do feel that America has forgotten how important, family, marriage, and faith is. We used to be a society with tight knit communities. OUr children didn't do anything and everything they wished. People weren't always ready to sue. God is schools and government never used to offend anyone. Now you can get kicked out of school for wearing a Jesus t-shirt. That's what I mean. The founding fathers knew how important faith was and you can see it in the early documents.

I don't think America is Bablyon in the Bible. Countries will rise and fall. When did America fall? Did I miss it? Rev 18:10 "" Standing afar off for the fear of her torment, saying, Alas, alas, that great city Babylon, that mighty city! for in one hour is thy judgment come."" The towers came down in how long. ONE HOUR Rev 18:11 And the merchants of the earth shall weep and mourn over her; for no man buyeth their merchandise any more: The World Trade(merchants) Center. Rev 18:17 For in one hour so great riches is come to nought. And every shipmaster, and all the company in ships, and sailors, and as many as trade by sea, stood afar off, Remember the famous pic of the towers burning from the ships in the harbor. 9/11 happened almost 7 years ago. quote:
The founding fathers knew how important faith was and you can see it in the early documents. Which ones? Because God, Christian, none of those words are in the Constitution.

Who scares me the most? Obama, by miles. I'd sooner vote for my housecat as the better leader for the country.

At first I figured it was a new flavor.
