original: CherishedbyGod I think it is absolutly wonderful! You are a very blessed person!!!!. So thinking about God makes me an absolutely wonderful and a very blessed person? Didn't the Pharisees and Sadducees think about God? Don't the demons and satan think about God? What about our daily responsibilities? Many people think this is irrelevant to the OP, but I disagree! Is not God both love and just? Setting your mind on the "things above" is important, but it is "in vain" if you neglect your obligations. (eg: Caring for our parents, loving our wives, nourishing our children, being diligent at work, studying at school, doing the household chores, and setting a good example). Please remember, faith without works is useless. "You believe that there is one God; you do well: the demons also believe, and tremble. But are you willing to recognize, you foolish fellow, that faith without works is useless?" (James 2:19-20) Wow...I have been on these forums for 2 years and I don't believe I have ever read a reply to my posts or the OP'er that is as harsh as yours. There are alot of assumptions in your reply. Such as, you are assuming that this person is neglecting their obligations... I feel very sorry for you that you jump to such conclusions.... Do you have a hugh root of bitterness in your heart?
