I've used the men's restroom but I thought it was the women's until I asked someone to hand me some tissue and received a shocked silence followed by a male voice.
So I will admit that I have almost walked into women's rest room's by mistake in tbe past.
At my work there are very few people who work there and there is officially a mens and ladies room there as well. It has been known on occasion when the men's room is occupied for a man to use the ladies room instead. There really isn't much of a difference except for more feminine soap and it smells nicer on the whole.

It's also cleaner, Mike. And I HATE it when men are using the same public washroom as me. They make a mess from poor aim and then it's gross.
I was in the hospital the other day as an outpatient and as I was walking down a hallway, I was quite surprised by two washrooms I saw side-by-side. One was for men and the other was for men and women. Sheesh! It's women who need more washrooms, not men! Of course I immediately thought of this thread.
I avoid public restrooms like the plague. In fact, I'm sure they contain the plague! Unless it's a dire emergency, I won't use one, so the long lines seldom effect me. The only times I've personally waited a bit in lines for the restroom were at airports. But, they move quickly, so I never noticed it as being a problem for me. The only other place I use public restrooms(as a rule) are on campus and they never have lines.
