He did.

And I didn't do it. I'm innocent, I say!

I think this jury needs to have a field trip to do a walk thru of Trey's house and surrounding area before we deliberate.(remember OJ) We may also need to be sequestered....with a variety of cheesecakes of course.(and coffee)

Now does the field trip include a swing by "The Fun Betty's Therapy Center"?

I think we should meet there and fill up on victuals.

One secret to making really good pumpkin cheesecake is getting the moisture out of the pumpkin before adding it to the cream cheese; this is important even when using canned pumpkin. The best way I have found is to spread the pumpkin out on a couple of layers of paper towels; you can remove the pumpkin from the paper towels simply by folding it in half a couple of times and slowly pealing the the top half of the paper towel away from the pumpkin. I usually have to repeat this a couple if times with new paper towels before I have enough of the water content removed. You know when you are good when the towels are no longer sopping wet. This little trick makes a very big difference in the consistency of the cheesecake.

Another trick is to separate the eggs and beat the egg whites into firm peaks, and then fold in the egg whites as the last step after everything else is mixed well (and just before putting everything in the oven); This will result in a lighter more "airy" cheese cake while still maintaining that "sinfully" rich flavor.

*blink*

I think I just found my new best friend. *stares in awe*

Out of all of my posts, and it is a simple recipe tip that caused a moment of "awe"; who knew?

Maybe that's why IWFNE now likes cheesecake!

It's the simple things in life. It doesn't take much to melt a heart when you involve cheesecake.

You know...I would be honoured. Perhaps when we finish we can sweet talk Benelchi into making some light and fluffy pumpkin cheese cake for us. *wink*wink*nudge*nudge*

You would prefer that one over the dark chocolate raspberry truffle cheese cake? I usually save pumpkin for the fall.

You know, I'm not a fan of dark chocolate but I loooove raspberries. Why don't you just surprise us? I'm sure we'd enjoy whatever you whipped up.

So I've been thinking. I thought I heard somewhere about a study, that if you are obsessed with something, then that's all you begin to see.

Sooo, I wonder if Ed is obsessed with cheesecake....
