I loooove strong Italian names, my own included of course. [:D]

Enzo!!!; Giordano; Lorenzo; Luigi!; Marcello! ; Ottavio; Ugo...

French I like: Thierry...

Germans the ones with "K" as: Klauss...

I prefer common names ending by "us" exemple: Mark- I prefer Marcus.

Plus I do find very exciting and cool surnames very long and hard to pronunciated as Germans ones, that ends with "meir/meyer" or "blablablashultz" or whatever in their endings ...as I do find charming French small surnames that souds beautiful too...is all about strenght and melody of names to me.

English names I like how "Todd" sounds, sooo strong...but I sure have to check the Welsh and Scotish ones that Iam not much aware of them yet, pretty sure I will find beautiful masculine names in many idioms that will appeal to me, of course.

Oh! I forgot the Greeks..wow..just beautiful too.

JustJeannie -> RE: Favorite first names of the opposite sex? (5/1/2008 10:18:01 AM)

I like a lot of different names of the OS, just not currently Greg or Gregory.

I like different names such as Sebastian, Geoffrey, Tristen (or Tristan), Bartholomew (NOT Bart), etc.

iwillfearnoevil -> RE: Favorite first names of the opposite sex? (5/1/2008 1:22:53 PM)

JustJeannie -> RE: Favorite first names of the opposite sex? (5/1/2008 1:29:29 PM)

Hmm...if I were to use my infamous sleuthing skills, I'd say yes, Jeannie, you posted his last name.

......... okay....

So I have a question.... just flame me if it's too far off topic....

Do your favorite names have people with good memories attached?

Interesting so far...

I'm not sure what mine are...

I love Biblical names....

..... but also.... I love names that are not of the 'norm' or common....

*Rach heads off to do a background check on IWFNE* [8D]

makarizo -> RE: Favorite first names of the opposite sex? (5/2/2008 6:17:53 PM)

Yes Rach, it would be even more interesting to know about the significance behind the chosen names...... LOL and for that raason.... I choose the name "michelle"

But when I hear someone say "Laura", I always turn my head to see who is talking.

OneOfHisJewels -> RE: Favorite first names of the opposite sex? (5/2/2008 11:26:56 PM)

Jonathan, Joel, Gabriel, Christopher, any of the manly surname names.

Don't care for:
Larry
Percival--not that I ever met one
any names that sound too feminine
