They have so many of these cases, it's sad. I think every case has to be looked at. Now. Some monies should be compensated. at least enough to get started. What do you put on a job application, for job history, ahhhh making 25 cents a day moping bathrooms in prison for 25 years. Call the warden for a reference?

It was the "Innocence Project" (link) that exonerated him. I haven't looked into all that they do, but I assume that they provide much that they need, including help in the way of employment.

........... I think there's a part of us which wishes that we could have our lives back after we've been 'wronged'.

Reality is... after such life altering events... we must let go of what we wanted and deal with what we have. Dwelling on 'what could have been' is only destructive to us.

Once we can embrace this concept... we are free to move forward.

Success in life (just being able to live in the free-world) depends on the support system a person has, forgiveness..... and completely leaning on God.

I'm guessing that people who don't have a relationship with Christ may have a more difficult time with dealing with such a horrendous happening (wrongful imprisonment)....

For those of us who love Jesus like crazy... we need to realize that our lives here on earth are only for a short time... there is more... it's waiting for us in Heaven.

The legal system is jack-rabbit fast to throw someone in prison. But yet they are as slow as a turtle with a bad hip when it is realized they made a mistake.
