I'd prefer to give folks some time to get some ideas posted before we put up a poll, so we don't have to keep modifying it, if it's all the same to you.

For the record, the "Honey Can" thread is not a game thread ... it's actually an advice thread for people who don't have spouses to ask for help. In fact, I was just gonna find it to post my lawnmower question ....

I was thinking of an "I wish" thread the other day. We've had them before but I don't know that they were ever considered a game thread. Stuff like..

I wish my dog didn't hog the covers

I wish I had someone to watch the Pens game with

I wish my kitchen cleaned itself

I wish my freezer were full of Ben & Jerry's right now

I dunno. Maybe it wouldn't be all that amusing.

I like the "Person Below Me..." idea. I've played that on different forums and it's pretty fun.

Okay, we'll let ideas accumulate throughout the day today - and we'll post a poll tonight.

Sound like a plan?????

What about an alphabet answer game? The first question has to be answered with a word beginning with A. The person to answer asks another question, which has to be answered with a word beginning with B, then C, D, etc.

It would only allow me to put 10 options in there ... so I posted the first 10 ideas.

The poll is subject to further modification.

Happy voting! Again, please pick no more than two!

Ooo... I loved the "I wish" thread! And my other favorite is the BIG WORD thread. I hear the more BIG WORDS you know the better dates you can get!

I wish I knew more big words and wasn't such a good egg with tremendous character.

I also wish Mr. Tom Sullivan would call me and do some very long awaited explaining!

I also wish I knew who the tall attractive man watching me was. Why was he watching me?!

I don't get it what do big words have to do with remembering dates?

Maybe it helps the date trees grow better if you read to them from graduate level text books?

WHAT! I have been looking in the wrong places all this time! Maybe I'll find the date tree next to the money tree I can never find.

They all grow in a special garden a long way from here. You have to have a fairy godmother who will tell you to rip off your left arm, use it to knock down 100 sticky nettle weeds with which you must then one-handedly weave a bridle for six swans. Catch and bridle the swans, then they will fly you to the entrance to the garden. There are 9 frogs sitting in front of the gate. Kiss them and hand them your left arm which you ripped off to thresh the nettles with. One will turn into a prince or a princess (depending on your gender) but do not be fooled: this is NOT your date. Accept nothing but an escort through the gate.

After that I don't know what you do. There are millions of trees. Finding the date tree and the money tree is virtually impossible.

Is that all we have to do to get a date?? Sheesh. And I thought it would be more difficult for some reason

Very creative, besiderself! Bravo!

Some people probably type faster with fewer errors with one arm than I do with 2!

these sound fun!

How about a "where to find in the bible the........." and should be answered with a bible verse.

Another idea...how about a "name the...". Example, name the last 4 teams to win the superbowl. YOu get the idea!

How about a "would you rather" game. My daughter and I play this all the time. Example. WOuld you rather be making $50K and the rest making $25K, or would you rather be making $100K when the rest are making $200K. I love this game.

Or the "don't say yes or no" game. A poster would have to ask a question that can only be answered with a yes or no or maybe, but the response has to be done in a way that avoids saying yes or no. Ex...Did Jesus die on the cross? Of course the answer is yes, but you have to say it without saying yes or yeah. It works well in person.

Or "the person below me" game. Ex...the person below me has 3 kids. The responder gives an answer, then asks a question for the next person.
