You can put all those things on a BLUE kayak, ya know. Blue would be much less . . . pink.

My brother is a purist too....you should have heard his excitement a few years ago when Oreo's were categorized as being Kosher....lol. He hadn't had any in many years because of his convictions on that, but NOW...oh boy...can't keep them out of his house!!! that is sooo sweet Donna!!!!!

My car is stranded by the side of the road again. This is getting very discouraging.

Eggplant would be much better than pink. They don't all have to be green, but somehow a more subdued color seems appropriate.

Yes, the belt again. The power steering fluid that had leaked all over it making it greasy leaked again. Not just a drip but what ever was sealing the leak before busted loose because when I opened the hood I heard it going "glug glug" as it all drained out. My dad said the replacement part for that has to come from the dealer. However, I think he can fix it himself. It is on a straight road with a wide shoulder and it has one of DD1's soccer socks hanging out the window (the only thing white I had) with a note inside and outside the windshield with my phone number. I am just so discouraged about all this. There is supposed to be an announcement in the bulletin asking for an inexpensive car on Sunday.

Zoe-my dh is wondering if your power steering pump is not venting properly...the reservoir should not be building enough pressure to cause leaks. (The "guy" version of this involving words like atmospheric pressure, etc...went right over my head). Also, you will probably want to replace the belt...the fluid can break it down and it will stretch too big and continue to fall off. (Please note that this is not professional advice...just ideas from an amateur.)

We did replace the belt last time. The one that fell off today had only been on for less than a week and I don't think any grease dripped on it until today. I'll ask my dad if he can check the pump ventilation.

Oh! So sweet, Donna. Thanks for putting that up, Ezri. Mr. Manly has recently been restricted. This never worked in the past, but lately it is having a big impact on him. Funny thing is that he doesn't get angry about it. He's quite affectionate towards me and his attitude improves a lot. I took him shopping with me today for a Mother's Day gift for my mother. That was not a fun outing for a boy, but he did very well. It was part of his punishment because I was not going to leave him home with Grandma while I went shopping. She cannot deal with him very well and would have had a very hard time enforcing the restriction while I was gone.
