Nice to meet you too, dahlin!

No, nothing huge planned. Just church and lunch. I really don't want to overexert or overwhelm her. Change is a bit of a struggle with her. She's almost two.

Oh, how old she is was going to be my next question. I think you have a good plan. Has she been to your church with you before?

I'm not sure that was a valid question since I just read you other post again. If she had been with you she probably doesn't remember it. Have you been seeing her regularly though? If I'm to nosey just tell me.

kimberly, so great to see you here. *does a happy dance* we were just getting ready to start missing you a whole bunch!

aw....gee....thanks, colleen!

and dont YOU look fetching in your pretty patchwork dress? oh....those were the days, huh?

My mom made me the dress, the back was quite fetching, I think it had criss-crossing straps, or something very daring-for me anyway!

hey, colleen...my mom used to make almost ALL my clothes. i had a couple criss-crossy dresses, too. the pink & white pinstripe one was my fav. but i had my share of patchwork stuff. oh...and those smoked-top long dresses! i loved those! lol

Good morning! Happy and safe traveling, Kimberly, see you tonight.

hey, pam. it was a LONG day. don't tell the DOT, but about 11.5 hrs of driving (only legal to drive 11.0 hrs in one 24-hr period). and it never stopped raining from 0615 when i started in KY, til i neared our terminal just south of atlanta. rather stressfull...driving thru hills and mountains in the rain. i actually SLID thru a stop light...fortunately was only going 30 MPH in a 35 MPH zone...and there was only 1 truck getting ready to cross in front of me...and he was watching and smiling at me the whole time. we BOTH knew i wasnt gonna stop! lol

Hey Michelle...are you able to go to the library or have someone go for you? Some friends of mine rent movies at the library all the time and they're free. You might want to look into it. *shrug*

Ooh, I had forgotten about that! Great idea. My library is closed for renovations and the nearest one is over 12 miles away. But I might make a special trip.

hey, michelle...hope you had a good day. any update i should know about? i was praying for you today.

actually...i prayed for the whole bunch of you today!!! i never even turned the radio on today. just drove, admired God's handiwork (beautiful hills and mountains, interesting rock formations, lots of greenery, the fields starting to "row", and other fields flooded)...and seemed to have a lot of little conversations with God today. sometimes i'm just so bored i realize i'm talking...sometimes it's intentional. giggle

No updates. The antibiotics are kicking in and starting to work. But they're making me pretty weak so I didn't move around a whole lot today. Thank you so much for your prayers... I know that God is taking care of all this.

Thriller (the mediocre version. Warning 12 minutes long)

Now compare it to the way it should have been done!

Thriller. The masterpiece of music videos!

(OK so I've got some time on my hands tonight. I'm supposed to be rehanging all of the Girl's too small clothes that she tried on today)

Oh Fun Times, John! Watching your little one grow one size bigger is a thrill, isn't it? I remember going through closets and drawers every spring and giving bags and bags of clothes to a friend who was just that size smaller. What memories!

You all with young 'uns - Enjoy every minute of these years, even those when you feel like you'll pull all your hair out or all of theirs! These memories are all so sweet on the other side of childhood.

Good evening all.

It was a tense day at work. I can't go into much details, but my agency has made some people mad by following the rules that we did not used to follow. The ultimate objective is to change the rules, but we are doing this by creating a fuss. I was on the phone a lot today.

HI!!!

How are you all tonight?!?!?!

WARNING: I am Tiggerish. It's very likely that no one on this forum has ever experienced me in my Tiggerish mood. But you should be forewarned that I do not act my age when I am Tiggerish.

And why am I Tiggerish, you ask? I'm so glad you asked...

Spring semester is over. Likely I will come out with another 4.0 semester.

Tonight, my son and I took a "refresher" ballroom dancing course. Very funny, since neither one of us ever took a regular ballroom dancing course. Or even know how to do social dancing.

We had a BALL...and we were the best dancers in the room. We had SO MUCH FUN...

I could have danced all night! I could have danced all night! And still have begged for more...

WOO HOO HOO HOOOOO (insert bouncing Tigger emoticon here)

LOL!! She is great in no matter what role she's playing... though I have to say, I was a little envious that she was with Keanu Reeves...

I'm lovin' Netflix. I had no idea I'd already seen so many movies. But I do have about 60 movies in my queue. *whew* It's going to be a busy week ahead.

Hey, Gary. Sorry you had such a rough day at work. How dare they enforce the rules!! (I can say that because we're going through the re-accredidation process right now and it feels like they're coming up with all kinds of policies... but they were already in place)

Oh, sorry. Just had to break out into song there for a minute! Sounds like you had a wonderful time dancing! I'd like to take my son sometime.

I'm a little confused, Gary. Are you upset about the enforcement of the rules? Or is just that you were talking to people who were mad?
