Way to go SM4L son! My nephew plays too. They are something like 20-1 now. The one they lost they gave away through poor fielding. They were beating everyone in the tournament by 10-15 runs and then they just kind of went home before the last game started KWIM?

How old is your nephew? My son is 11, in 5th grade and is playing with 6th and 7th graders, so I think he is doing well (now that he's wearing his glasses on the field). Our boys actually have a tie on the records because the league doesn't let them start a new inning after 10 pm (thank goodness). This happened on a Tuesday night and we ALL had school the next day...

He's 11 also. Soon to be twelve (OH NO. Just turned twelve and I think I missed it!). Plays on a travelling team. So far this season all but three kids on the team have hit home runs. One kid hit three in the same game (against our bitter rivals mwahahaha)
We'll be playing a tourney in Cincinnatti in June and in Michigan in July. Lots other but they are more local.
And my daughter starts softball sometime soon if it ever stops raining. This is her first year of coach pitch.

Good morning, everyone!!!!!
I'm getting ready for the weekly copier battle. The music for Rocky has been in my head all morning. And, Google is seemingly down at the moment so I can't check my email. Gah!
Well, I guess I'll give google a chance to recover while I start the festivities. If anyone needs me, I'll be in the copy room screaming. If I come back, it means that the copier is actually working on my side...

Well this being only his 3rd year to ever play, I think my son is doing well. He made the national league. I am told that is where they select the all-star players from for the travelling tourney team...
I couldn't get my daughter to try anything but soccer. She is more geared towards academics. She has been in the Quiz Bowl, Battle of the Books, and went to the State Spelling BEE. She may get to go to a CSI camp this summer at the local university. I gotta check into that soon.

That would sooooo be nice. Once a month.
The good news was that I was able to deter an insert this week (i hate stuffing inserts). I managed to get the info on the bulletin instead.

Today is graduation from seminary. Exactly one year ago I was herding family around, taking my graduation gown to a coin laundromat because I couldn't get access to my iron (joys of packing), and being so RELIEVED that the day had finally come.

(2) Take one heavy metal rod (a crowbar will work)
(3) Smash equipment with rod in full view of copier (wear safety goggles just in case)
(4) Give copier a meaningful glare
You shouldn't have any problems for at least six months after that. (And even if it doesn't work, at least you got to smash something!)
