Good morning, John! I was just coming in here to say how quiet it seems to be all over the board this morning.

It's raining over in these parts. How's the weather out there?

Morning everyone! You know, it kind of looks like on this list we have the "morning people" and the "night people"--like at a coffee shop or a restaurant.

I try to come in here and be with the night crowd, but I just can't stick it.

So....Pammy. It's you and me, babe, here in the mornings.

We had your rain day-before-yesterday, and lots of wind and wind damage, yea, and even reported tornadoes.

At least I think you got ours. Are you East of Texas? I can't remember...

I'm actually a night person but the fact that my alarm goes off at 5 am I tend to have to be in bed before midnight.

Kinda puts a damper in my chatting life.

Well, that's kind of why I'm a morning person, too...I just have to get up so early most days.

Yes, Esther, I'm in PA. And I'm pretty much an early-to-bed-early-to-rise person, at least for now.

I'm up at 5am as well, if not earlier - I have lots to do in the morning. Doesn't mean I'm a morning person, though. LOLOL

OK, I'll amend the statement to be "People who are awake early rule!"

It's kind of weird with longer days having it be light out at 5 AM. But I like it!

I just remember the old saying:

Early to bed
Early to rise
And your girl goes out
with other guys

I'm a night owl who's forced to be a morning person. Have to be up at 6 to get the Girl to school.

Perversely I greatly enjoy the early morning hours outside. The pre-dawn stillness before the day really starts.

BTW Esther, Pammy didn't get your rain. She got my rain!!

I looked outside a moment ago and thought that we were under nuclear attack. It's been so long since I've seen the sun that I fogot what it looked like!

Oh my! What's with the rain everywhere? I haven't seen rain in awhile. Not that I'm complaining.......

My dad always taught me that if the sun was up, I should be up also. I currently get up around 4 AM which isn't too bad.

Morning, all! It has been a LONG week for me, and I am ready for the weekend. Maybe I can get some chatting in, since I have been hit-and-miss here during the week.

I think I've really always been that way and always will. Even this morning, which I had set aside as my "sleep in" morning, I only slept until 7:30.

Yes, we do.

Morning, broyce.

Let's see...it seems that I vaguely remember that Barry is your first name, right? Did you know, I really like the combination of the b with royce...it's a cool name in itself. Broyce. Very cool.

Might as well join the light side of The Force, Lisa. As already stated...Morning People Rule. You want to Rule with us, right?

Naaaa....that's not true. You just get to date the wholesome, winsome morning girls. Of course, that may not be the kind you were looking for...

Ok. Well, I'm glad then because I wouldn't want anyone to get the hail and wind damage we had. Not that I suffered any, but plenty around here did.

That reminds me of a book I like to read sometimes called Alas, Babylon. Anybody ever read that one?

Good Morning Everyone.

You guys were sooooo funny last night. I've been just skimming through lately but I had to read most of last nights post.

I hope you all are having a good day!

I would venture to guess there are several reasons for it being slow - one is that there seems to be a LOT of off-forums corresponding going on. That's okay - that's how relationships are built. The other is that we're all at work and actually have to work today! LOL It's not you, trust me.

Wait...people actually do this??????

Whoa...totally rocked my world around.

It happens sometimes.

At least my post #500 was a comment about soccer.

Yes, Barry it is. And glad you like it! It seems to be more appreciated now than in elementary school when people asked if I was a strawBarry or a raspBarry, etc.

Good morning, Voice! (I never get to say that!)

Good morning, everyone!

I read it years and years ago, but I'm don't remember the specifics too well. There's a nuclear holocaust and a man tries to survive afterwards, experiencing the shock of the changes to his world?
