Hi Tink! I saw a movie today as well!
Hi Kimberly, when I say my area, I am referring to the Northeast, where people are hard to get to know in general. It seems very common in this part of the country as opposed to other parts.

That definitely does vary geographically. I think some of the most friendly places I've lived is in Montana and Nevada....and that's northeast Nevada. Southern Nevada not so nice.
Oh boy...I don't know what I'm still doing up! Exploring the woods always makes me so tired...but it's that good kind of tired. I think I will sleep well tonight....that is if I can get these stupid mosquito bites to stop itching! Oh...and I didn't get one mushroom today. I'm so let down! My brother in law told us we wouldn't get any and I told him we were going to prove him wrong. He didn't gloat too much when we came back empty handed.

Have fun at the birthday party tomorrow Tink. Sounds like it will be fun.

no..i'm an illinoian by birth. but i'd always dreamed of moving to georgia after high school. and 20+ years later, i married a georgia redneck! some of it wore off and has stayed. go figure.

Ahhh ok, and even though I was Boston born and raised, I do no longer have the accent at all.

i have to say...that's good! personally, that is one of the few accents that just grates on me. i have a friend who was boston-born....and has moved back in the last couple years. he doesn't have the accent for the most part...but every once in a while it slips out.

"recently" would be preferable. i have had a total of 5 knee surgeries (all between 1980-1984); 3 on left; 2 on right. on 31JAN2008, i slipped on some ice at a customer site (up in MI's UP) and really screwed my left (worst of the two) knee up. contemplated a 6th surgery...but we opted for a cortisone shot and some PT (physical therapy)...and i'll just have to see how it goes. i feel like i've regressed about 15 years in my mobility, flexibility, stamina, strength....blah blah blah. unfortunately, being (almost) 42 does not work in my favor in this situation. i just don't "bounce back" like i used to. congenital problems and subsequent arthritis and deterioration has taken its toll.

Thanks. I'm pretty sure what the problem is (the power supply) and it's a pretty simple fix (plonk in a new one) so once funds permit, I'll be fixing it.
